     "Just drive Rainer."
"You're so lucky that my psrents agreed to this." Rainer says.
"Bet that you had to do extra chores because you kept me a secret." I say.
"Well duh!" Rainer rambles on, but I just look out the car window ignoring him. I check my phone and it's only 4:45 am. I sigh in releif that we are far enough that I can't see my house from here. I had my friend Rainer sneek me out of the house at night, so he could drive me to my college. Good thing he is going to the same college. If I were to go with my mother, I'd probably die before I could even get half way there.
"Hey, how are your bruises? Do they still burn or hurt because I've got some more ice packs in the cooler." Rainer offers. "Nah I'm good for now, but thanks for offering."

"Honestly I don't know what goes through a parents mind to even hit their kid."
"Yeah well welcome to my world."
Rainer shoots me a soft smile and I gladly return it before turning my head back to the window.

Mother is going to be pissed when she realizes that im gone, but it's not like she will care. I still left a note though, just in case she tries to cantact the police. But hey, I'm just your average girl Kara. The girl who doesn't belong or that girl who doesn't have parents who love her. Blah blah blah, yeah whatever. I'm just glad that im finally out of thst hell hold. I stare at my reflecting through the window and put on a small smile. I yawn loudly and take off my jacket. I put the jacket over me, as if it were a blanket. Soon enough I doze off.

Waking up to the sound of rain felt peaceful. I just barely open my eyes to turn on my phone. 7:37 am. "Ah look who's awake." I turn around so im facing the driver's seat. "Do you wanna switch places?" I ask Rainer.
"Nah we're almost there anyway."
I yawn and stretch. I place my head against the car window listening to the rain. "What to do you think will happen in the future, you know like after college?" I ask Rainer. "Why do you ask?" I let out a huge sigh before responding. "Im just scared, for what's yet to come." Rainer wraps his arms around my neck, pulls me in for a half  hug. "Don't worry dude." He says. I feel my eyes start to get watery, but successfully I hold then back.

About a half an hour later, we pull up into a huge parking lot. I sit straight up from my seat to get a better view. "Holy crap dude, I didn't know that Mystic University was this huge!" I exclaim. Rainer chuckles at me, as we park. "Thanks for driving me Rainer, I appreciate it a lot." I give him a huge smile as both of us get out of the car. "Yeah, yeah whatever shorty, but dang so many people here." I give Rainer a little glare, but we start walking to the entrance.

"Ok, so I think they should already have our dorm keys and stuff set up." Rainer informs me. "Well thank god, now I can just quickly get back to a bed." I say deadly. "Ha, I heard that the dorms have bunk beds." Rainer laughs. I slowly turn my head towards to Rainer, as he is still laughing. He continues, but then slowly stops as he sees my expression. "What kind of cheap or rich college-!!!"

"Again thanks for the ride Rainer!" I yell out to him. He gives me a smile and throws out a peace sign. I return that peace sign and keep walking. I fix my  grip on my backpack and my suitcase. Rainer and I decided to go unpack at our dorms, then go get some lunch. I walk over to the girls dorm area and can't help but imagine how many boys sneak over here. I scoff at my thought but, then I accidently bump into someone. "Ah sorr-" "Watch it blue boy." The person interrupts my apology. I look up at the male and glare at him. "Well for one, I'm not a boy, and two, don't be giving out nicknames." I roll my eyes and purposely shove his arm, as I walk away.

I breath heavily, bent down on my knees, and panting. "So many....flight...of...stairs." I wheeze. There were so many people getting on to the elevator, that I thought I would just take the stairs. I guess life just came at me and was like nope! You're going to be on the sixth floor. At least I'm not dead though. I ruffle my blue hair and proceed to walk more. Ok, so my room number is 622, so it shouldn't be too far. I see my dorm and my face lights up. At last! we meet! I unlock the door, with the dorm key, that was given to me by a dorm helper. I let outa huge sigh of relief and slam the door shut behind me. I take quick glance around, wanting to check out the room right away. I see the kitchen to my left. It's small, but really cool. I walk straight forward to the living room, and set my stuff down. The living room is huge though. It already decorated, too. I guess I have a roommate.

I turn around to see a small hallway.  I cross my fingers as I make my way to the room. "Please don't be bunk beds. Please don't bunk beds." I keep repeating to myself. I open the door to the room and wow. Lol its the bathroom. I roll my eyes and go to the next door and open it. "Oh Shi-"

Honestly could've been longer, but yeah idk bye. ~🥀 hehe lol :)
