Brad was slumped on one of the slightly uncomfortable office chairs that surrounded the large wooden table, also sat around the table were the management teams, lawyers and Y/N. The words replayed in brads head; 'contact over', 'break up', 'never speak again'.

"I don't understand" brad said, taking small glances at Y/N, why is the contract over so suddenly, Brad could have sworn they had at least another couple of months left. He didn't get it.

"well, us, as yours and Y/Ns managers think that this contract needs to be ended earlier than we had originally stated. But, it worked, you got more fans and so did Y/N which is all that matters really"

Y/N stayed silent. Fans and followers, is that really all that mattered? Was Brad really going to let the girl he fell in love with walk away because some piece of paper with their signatures on said that they arent really in love. Thats stupid.

Y/N pushed her chair out abruptly and looked around the room at everybody; "So Im guessing I can leave now? Contracts over, I dont need to be here anymore" she shrugged, not even bothering to glance at brad.

"well if Brad agrees that the contract is over then sure, you're free to leave" one manager said, looking towards Brad once he had finished speaking, waiting for Brads say so.

"Yeah, its over then I guess" Brad mumbled, it was over, he let her go, just like that. Well its not exactly like you even had her in the first place, shes your fake girlfriend- she was your fake girlfriend. It was all set up for fans and publicity. She doesnt even like you! Brad thought to himself, he was right.

The office doors closed gently as Brad watched Y/N turn the hallway corner. He wasnt going to see her again, or so he thought.

Brads phone buzzed his jeans pocket, it was a notification; @Y/N just made a post.

He unlocked his phone and saw the picture that Y/N had just posted. It was a picture of her with the sunset as the background, this was the picture Brad has taken for her before they got together, back when they were best friends, before he lost her.

Brads heart shattered as he read the caption underneath the beautiful photograph of his love.

Sometimes things just dont work out and thats why Im posting this. Me and Brad have officially broken up, we decided it would be best to move onwards with our lives without each other because our careers are our focal points and we dont have the time for relationships. Brad is the sweetest guy I have ever met and I dont know what I would have done without him, he helped me through a lot and I want to say thank you to him and the fans that supported us, we will remain friends but as for being in a relationship, were over. Brad keep being happy and brighten up the world, you brightened mine. I will always love you. Bullshit.

He scrolled through the comments which mainly consisted of 'oh my god! Im crying' and 'I shipped this so much' the occasional 'finally' but nothing too mean. Little did each fan know that they had been deceived for the past 3 months. Everything was a lie, their relationship, their Instagram posts, their happiness, their love. None of it existed outside of social media.

It had been 2 weeks since that day, the day in which Bradley Will Simpson lost his everything. James, Tristan and Conner all became worried for Brad, surely drinking your days away and crying isnt healthy for you. But here Brad was, sat in the same crowded bar, drinking. He didnt want to feel his emotions, he doesnt need a heart when it can be replaced with cheap wine and hook-ups. Most of his regular hook-ups reminded him remotely of Y/N, hed hook-up with any girl if they even slightly reminded him of her, even if they just had the same hair colour.
