she grabs her luggage, making sure that everything is secure and still inside. it is. she breathes a sigh of joy and puts the strap of her polaroid camera around her neck.

lindsey ballato, a vintage photographer from new jersey, has left  her home to find a photography school in new york. jersey was always so boring to lindsay while new york was exciting. there was always something going on at the crowded city.

when walking aimlessly around the loud streets, she got herself in a abandoned looking neighborhood of apartment complexes. she looks for a street sign and after finding one, it says

BETHANY BLVD

"'bethany boulevard?" lindsey mutters. she shrugs and walks deeper into the neighborhood. she is heavily interested in living in this street, considering how old it looks and vines were growing up the buildings beautifully. the grey sky even makes up for it.

while taking many pictures, someone taps on her shoulder and lindsey screams. the person screams as well and cowers when holding his fedora. "i-i'm sorry! i just wanted to a-ask if you wanted t-to live here!" he whimper. lindsey sighs. "it's alright. i would love to live here."

the person gasps, taking out paper and a pen from their pocket and points to a complex. "o-over there! that light red one! that's the one y-you'll live in. sign here, here, and here." he point to the lines where the signatures are.

she signs them and the person takes the papers back gently. "th-thank you, ma'am! by the w-way, i'm patrick stump, your l-landlord. i hope you enjoy your t-time here at bethany boulevard!" patrick smiles, tipping his fedora politely and leaves.

lindsey snorts and looks at her new home. the red contrasting gorgeously with the grey above and the dead vines on each corner of her complex gave an aesthetic vibe that she always loved.

i think i'm gonna like this place, she thinks.
