Jason watched as a plastic bag drifted across the sky. He pricked his ears. "BACK TO SCHOOL SALES TODAY!!! GET EVERYTHING 50% OFF!" Jason let out a long sigh, going down stairs to turn the TV off. "Dang technology." he slapped the side of it, it going to static. "Peter! TV's broke!" Jason called. There was no reply. "Peter?" He turned back to the TV. "Are you okay?" the figure asked. "Bryson?" Jason looked at the figure again. "Calm down, it's me, kid." Peter bent down to hug Jason. Jason hugged him back. Good, Peter doesn't realize I cut my hair. Jason looked back at the TV, it continued to play commercials, as if it hadn't gone to static. Jason shut the TV off, sitting there confused.
School is just around the corner, which means fall is, too. All the stores have taken down the isles with pool floats and goggles and replaced them with pencils and backpacks. Jason walked into the store, a cold rush of air hitting his face. He thought to himself, Might as well get some supplies. Jason was inspecting a package of Number 2 pencils carefully, when a crash sounded from the next isle. He ran to the sound, to find a pile of binders and a hoof sticking out of the pile. "Here, let me help you." Jason grabbed its arm, pulling them up. "Thanks." she looked up. "Ansley..." he growled, his eyes narrowing. "Woah, calm down. Why should you be mad just because I'm friends with Lee?" Ansley towered over him. "Because... b-because...." Jason mumbled. Ansley grabbed Jason by his hoodie. "GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Peter screamed, running into the isle with them. Mr. Harper heard the commotion and ran in as well. "ANSLEY HARPER!" he shouted. "I-it's not what it looks like!" Ansley let go, backing up. "You're grounded for a month!" Mr. Harper told her. "Jason, grab what you want and I'll get it and we'll go." Peter nudged him. Jason gave one last glare at Ansley before grabbing the pack of pencils and walking off with Peter to check out.
Lee watched the trees sway in the wind. Her claws clicked against the wooden coffee table. Suddenly her focus changed from the trees to the wall, specifically a drawing. Lee stood up, slowly walking to it. She inspected it as she took it off the wall. "Logan." Lee said. Junny, Landon, and Yvonne ran downstairs. "LOGAN?" "Really?" "YOU FOUND HIM?" They stared at Lee in the empty room. "There's one kid who'd understand this drawing." Lee turned to them. "Anti-social-hoodie-kid?" Junny whispered. Lee nodded. "Who's going to talk to him?" Landon asked. They all turned to Junny. "What?..." Junny muttered. "You go." Yvonne spoke up. "Yes, but why?"
