The Reasons Why

Chapter 5

Emma's Pov

   Sara looked like she had just seen a ghost. Of course now she regrets what she did, but before she was proud of putting Kate in her place.

I was there that day, standing in the back. Kate was trying to plead with Sara, telling her that the rumors werent true. But Sara didn't care about what came out of Kate's mouth. She just wanted to teach her a lesson, not get her to kill herself.

     But maybe that's not the complete reason. We were all there. We could have tried to stop Sara or take the punch for Kate. But instead we watched, silently. Some heartless jerks laughed as Kate got punched, but never thought how it would affect her. I guess no one did.

       I looked up briefly as I was thinking and saw Sara crying. I glared at her. I know that we are all here because we caused this but she never even tried to listen to Kate. Insead she believed rumors.

     Caleb attempted to console Sara and just as I was about to say something, Clarissa beat me to it. Her slow but angry voice echoed through the room. "I can't believe that you are the one that need comforting. You believed the rumors and you made the desicion to punch her. You didn't regret it then and i'm sure you don't truly regret it now." Sara stopped crying and stared at Clarissa in horror. I smirked, this genius took the words right out of my mouth. She turned and looked at me smiling, as to show she understood too.

A/N okay so uhm that happened. I still have plenty of ideas so im going to try and update more. Also I was thinking of making a book about Emma and Jake kind of explaining their past and how they met and stuff. Its going to be a love story of sorts. So look forward to that I guess.
