Chapter 23

One Month (and a couple days) Later

It was Valentines day!

Now usually I'm not excited for Valentines Day, in fact I'm usually dreading it and hating everything. But this year I have a Valentine, Marshall said he had something planned for me but he won't give any hints as to what it is. The suspense is killing me.

Another reason I didn't like Valentines Day was because it was usually on a school day, but we still had to go to school! Thankfully this year its on a Saturday.

I was suppose to be getting ready, but Marshall is sending Cake and Mono to help me dress for the occasion. They're not here yet so I'm just lounging around letting my thoughts wonder.

The last month has been pretty weird.

My situation with Mr. Ricardio is at a stand still. The only time he has to talk to me is after class, but since I started dating Marshall I told him I have Piano lessons and have to leave immediately. Of course he didn't object, he actually lets me leave class early sometimes so that I don't miss anything.

I know its dumb and I should just tell him about Marshall and I, but as long as he doesn't ask I'm not bringing it up. And since we haven't really talked with one another, I hope we are putting great distance between each other and he'll lose interest.

Fingers crossed.

Cake is showing more, but its easy to cover up wearing what she always wears. Oh get this! You know her doctors appointment, well she has... Four babies in her stomach!

Quadruplets!

Or well.... she did. You see, since she was pregnant for two months without knowing she still drank... She lost two of the babies, and had to have them removed surgically. That whole two weeks were pretty hard on everyone. Cake felt awful, she even refered to herself as a baby killer. Mono helped her out of her depressed funk, and she's made a full recovery!

No one told Cake this, but the loss of her babies was actually for the better. I mean college freshman... With four kids? Although no one said anything, I'm pretty sure she knew it was for the best too.

Hmm who have I not talked about yet? Fionna and Flame? Well at the party Flame was drinking, and somehow mustered up the courage to go right up to Fionna and ask her out. She said yes, and that's how they ended up in the bedroom. Nothing else has happened with them except they're doing something special today too, Cake and Mono are just gonna chill.

...But recently I've actually had some doubt about Marshall and I.

Now nothing sinister if course! Just I realized we started dating Thankgiving break.... and we already did it on Christmas. We only dated barely over a month and we were moving so fast... I was worried about how fast we were moving for awhile, and I acted... off. Of course he noticed, but I couldn't tell him what I felt. I didn't want to hurt him.

After about a week or so of my worrying I realized I didn't have to anymore. We weren't moving fast... I just... love him.

I love Marshall Lee Abadeer.

But no way in hell was I gonna tell him that.

I hear a knock and walk over opening the door. Just as I suspected Cake and Mono came in. "Lets get this show on the road!" Cake announces grabbing my arm and dragging me into the bathroom. Mono stands at the door with his arms crossed observing.

"Well Marshall said have you dressed nicely, so I'm thinking a dark pink v neck since you love pink and skin tight black jeans."

"Skin tight?" I repeat furrowing my eyebrows.
