Don't mistake my sadness for madness
Don't mistake my hurting for bitterness
And
Don't mistake my sensitivity for ignorance
Am I not good enough for you?
I try, try, try
But nothing seems good enough for you
My friend
I try my best to do my best
I do what you ask
I stand up for you
I try to hide when you hurt me
But I always end up hurt
