Where It all Began - Chapter One

Four Year Old Angel's P.O.V

I giggled as I ran around the field in front of the forest, my mom chasing me.
"C'mon mommy! Catch me!" I yelled while giggling. she then caught me she started to tickle my stomach, I broke out in laughter.
"Hahaha! Stop! Stop! I surrender!" I yelled and she let go. I heard the sounds of a portal swirling and then a flash sound. I ran over to the two portals. One to the Nether one to the Irene Dimension. I saw my dad with his black hair and  red cracks under his eyes. His skin a shadow on the top half of his face. The shadow wasn't usually there but I just wanted to greet my dad.
"Daddy!" I said and ran towards him. With excitement
"Angel! Get bac-" my mom yelled but was cut off by me being picked up and a knife to my neck.
"Mommy! Help!!!" I screamed in a panicked voice. I saw my sisters come out and run towards me but mom stopped them.
"Shad.... put her down please..." my mom said in a calm voice. I looked at her worried and scared as she frowned. Her frown desperate for her daughter to be safe.
"No! She is too strong.... I cannot have anyone overpassing me! I'll start with her and then get the other two!" Shad said with anger and jealousy. His voice crackling with a demonic sound.  my sisters disappearing as my mom then ran at my dad trying to get me back but there was then a flash of black and dark red light and when it went away I was in a forest in the middle of nowhere with an abandoned campsite. I started to cry and sat on a log bringing my knees to my chest and leaning my head on my knees silently. Minutes went by before I slowly start a fire remembering how my parents taught me. I went into the tent and snuggled up in a sleeping bag. I would go and try to find a village so I wasn't stuck in the forest tomorrow but right now I wanted to sleep.

When I woke up I grabbed my stuff and started to walk tear stains still on my face from last night. I hadn't dreamed of anything just heard voices telling me things like 'I'll never see my family again' and 'I'll die in this forest'. I stared ahead almost lifeless until I got to a town at least six hours later. I blinked and looked around to see where I was. All I could tell was that it wasn't really a town, just a campsite. I went and got some food, there was a nice lady who just gave it to me for free. I also got a bag and put all my supplies and other things in there.

TIME SKIP TWELVE YEARS LATER

Angel's P.O.V

I woke up to the sun shinning on my face. I was in another forest. I groaned slightly as I turned to my side and laid down for five more minutes before getting up. Yesterday I was scouting the area and I saw a village. I would go there today. I gathered all my stuff. Including my swords with I just made disappear since I could make them reappear and disappear at will, I don't know why I could do this or how but I didn't care to learn either. I would then put away my only pencil and the couple sheets of paper I had.  then starting to walk in the direction of the village. It took me thirty minutes to get there and to the front gate as there were two guards in armor one on each of side of the gate. I walked up to the taller guard and smiled.
"Hello! I'm Angel and I'd like to come into this village!" I would say happily.
"Reason for entry?" The guard asked. I kept my smile.
"I'm.... here to see if I can live in this area, is that alright?" I asked kindly.
"That's fine as long as you don't have any weapons" the guard explained. I showed him my bag and how I had no weapons on me and he nodded. I walked into the village and saw a giant tree at the back. I continued to walk down the gravel path looking at everyone while I walked. I accidentally bumped into a lady with blonde hair, blue eyes and wolf ears and a tail. She was wearing causal clothing.
"Sorry." I said before walking away. I walked to the giant tree and saw there were stairs carved in the trunk, I walked up the stairs seeing beds and armor in the middle. I would then lay on one of the beds tired of walking. Soon drifting off to a peaceful sleep. When I woke up I heard footsteps and crawled under the bed, laying on my stomach on the Wooden 'floor' I saw some black feminine books walking around on the floor.
"I know someone is here!" A female's voice yelled. I grew stiff as the girl started to walk more stopping a couple times. She was probably looking for someone in hiding spots. I heard footsteps grow closer as I saw a pair of feet in some black boots with red, fire like laces. I saw a hand cup under the bottom of the bed as the bed slowly lifted up. I looked up to see the girl from before and stood up, I went to run away but my left arm was grabbed as I hissed in surprise and pulled my arm away lightly grabbing it. Seeming protective over myself.
      "I know who you are" the girl said as I finally heard her voice with clarity, I recognized it. Maybe it was way more mature but I still recognized her voice. It was my older sister's voice. It was my older sister.
        "I don't know what your talking about...." I have no idea why I played that off.. why did I act like I didn't know her?! I should've jumped up and hugged her. Tackled her! Said how much I missed her. But my instincts made it so I didn't.. I couldn't trust anyone, not anymore.
      "Angel... Don't lie to me..." she said again.
      "I have to..." I whispered under my breath. Looking away.
       "No you don't! You can trust me..." I looked back at her and hesitated, standing there for a minute or so and then hugging her as tight as I could. She hugged me softly rubbing my back in a reassuring way. I pulled away after a while as she stared at me.
     "Okay we need to get you cleaned up.. you're an absolute mess!" She said with a giggle. I groaned annoyingly and rolled my eyes. How could she already be so happy?
       "Well what do you expect? I've been lost most of my life!" I complained. Copying her spike of happiness.She then dragged me all the way to her house. It was a big house next to the lord's. She took me to her room and cleaned me up, then giving me some clothes. I took the clothes and she left while I changed. I saw how skinny my figure was. Probably from barely eating, not being able to buy food caused this. I also saw my pale bruised skin, cuts and scars all over. Mostly from animal and bandit attacks. I sighed and hurried to put the borrowed clothes on. I then went downstairs to see a man with a green scarf and some bandit-like armor clothing. A hood down resting on the man's back his brown silky hair in a nice mess. It was appealing. Though not as much to me.
    "Hello...?" I said questioning with a curious look on my face, since I didn't know who this man was and why he was in my sister's house. The man turned his head so he was facing me
    "You must be Angel? Jacky's little sister?" The man asked, his voice calm and relaxed. I nodded.
     "Where is Jacky?" I  asked the man. Curious of where my older sister might be. He would nod his head towards the kitchen in response. After some time Jacky walked in with a cup of water.
    "Hey what you two up to?" She asked in curiosity. I just stared at her.
     "Who's the man?" I asked walking over to her. She just chuckled at the question.  
      "That's my boyfriend silly!" She said while laughing I looked at her then him and then back to her.
      "Oh... what's his name?" I would ask with interest.
