"And that's Pythagoras' theorem in summary," Adrian said. Emma sat gazing into his deep, dreamy, brown eyes.
The bell rings.
Floods of children leave the classroom, but behind the neutral exterior she boded, Emma felt secret heartache. It would be 24 hours before she saw Adrian again. Before she got a glimpse of his perfectly chiselled face and his glistening, perfect eyes.
"That class was so boring," Megan said. "I couldn't wait to get out of there!"
"Yeah..." Emma replied, hesitantly. She had to lie. If anyone found out her secret, her life would be over.
The rest of the day dragged. Geography, drama, science. All Emma longed for was the next maths lesson.
Finally, home time. Emma needed to get home and tell her diary about the encounter. Her diary was the only place she could vent her undying love for Adrian. It was her safe place, full of secrets and pictures of her fantasies of Adrian.
Dear Diary,
He's so perfect. I cannot explain. His presence fills me with euphoria. I just want his taste to dance across my tongue. He is God.
Today just confirmed it. As I stared at him as he taught Pythagoras' theorem, I saw his muscles ripple and his hair swoosh in the breeze. Waves of pleasure rushed through my body; they were almost too intense to conceal.
Anyway, enough dreaming about what I'll never have. Night, Diary.
~Emma
Closing her diary, Emma let out a sigh.
