For More Than Just A Friend

I really don't know how to say it,
It seemed to me that her and I just fit.
Although I haven't known her long,
I think it's safe to say I wasn't wrong.

I may not know her favourite colour,
That isn't to say I do not know her.
I know all of the important things,
Her friendships like a pair of wings.

She sets me free from all my troubles,
We think alike, we're nearly doubles.
I like to text her, letter by letter,
Is she angry? Never, never.

So I'd like to say a big thank-you,
For all the things she helps me do.
I am so glad she's in my life,
And just for her, I'd take a knife.
