Chapter 14

I couldn't help comparing this kiss to the kiss I shared with Eddie. This one was rough and eager while the one with Eddie was sweet.

I didn't have much time to think before Austin pushed me against the door frame, in full view of the teacher and the already gathered students.

"Miss Williams!" Mr whatever-his-name-geography-teacher said, walking forward. I detached myself from Austin and took my arms from around his neck and put them by my side.

"Yes, sir?" I asked sweetly

"To your seats! Both of you!" he shouted

"Of course sir" I saluted him, just for the effect and he reddened in anger, but didn't say anything. I went over, still smiling sweetly, and sat in my seat next to Eddie.

"What was that?" he asked angrily

"Do you need an explanation?" I smirked.

"I was looking everywhere for you" Idea!

"Well obviously not everywhere. You never checked Austin's room" I winked across to Austin. To Eddie it was a seductive wink but to Austin, it was to let him know the plan had worked.

"What is your problem?" his teeth were clenched.

"I like what I do"

"You enjoy being a bitch to people who make the effort for you? Victoria, I'm the most popular guy in school, I have a variety of girls who would die to be you right now and you don't even give me a chance. Do you really think I'm like this to everyone?" his eyes went soft.

"Erm... Yes? Well, at least to every girl who's pants you want to get into"

"You're impossible"

"Right class!" the teacher said from the front, I hadn't even noticed the others walk in. "I have an announcement. You all know how our recent subject has been 'Nature and Habitats' right? Well the school has kindly funded enough money for our annual trip to Greenwood Forests. There you will be given a clipboard and expected to be writing down the different habitats you and your partner notice when you are going around inside the woods."

"Can we choose our partner?" Some redheaded lad shouted from the back of the room.

"Your partner will be the person sitting next to you"

I looked at Eddie and he looked back at me. This was going to be a hell of a lot of fun! Note my sarcasm.

The next few lessons went by quickly, seeing as I didn't go.

Yeah, it was my first week and all ho hum, pigs bum. I'm sure they'll live without me.

"Tori!"

"Kaylee!" I screamed as I walked over to her.

"What are you doing here?" I sat at her table with my latte

"Skipping, you?" she tutted at me but smiled.

"Free period"

"Hey, have you heard about the trip tomorrow?" Yes, tomorrow. They had already informed our parents and we were going tomorrow!

"Yeah, ouch" she gave me a sympathetic look.

"I don't have any woodsy clothes though!" I near enough cried. She smiled before pulling me out my seat and towards our dorms.

8 a.m. and I look like I'm going trekking. Great start to the day! Not.

It's not that my clothes were bad or anything, the designer black trackies with 'D&G' in pink on the side were nice and comfortable but I'd have traded them any day for some AJ skinnys. I wore a black tank top and black trainers.

"You do realize that October is a while away so you can put your Barbie Halloween costume away" I said, laughing at Libbie as she came out the bathroom.

She was wearing a pink tracksuit with pink trainers that had a few white stripes on it. Her platinum blond hair was in a high ponytail and baby pink lipstick smeared all over her greasy lips.

"Funny, aren't you?"

"Since when are you in Geography?"

"We're in the same class, your just too bothered about snogging the face of that Austin guy that you didn't notice" I didn't notice Super Slag in the same class as me? Well, she wasn't that important so all's fair in war and shit like that. She flicked her hair one last time before walking out the door.

I met Kaylee outside and she walked with me to the front of the school where everyone was meeting before going off to math.

"It is required that you sit with your partner on the bus to make things easier on the staff members!" Sir was shouting. Do they hate me or what?

Eddie and I were sat in the middle seats, I sat near the window and waited for him to come. He arrived eventually and saw me already sitting down so he took the aisle seat.

"I need to talk to you" I put my earphones in and pressed play on my iPod. "Victoria" I turned it up and tilted it very slightly so he could see that I had. He pulled my earphones out of my ears.

"I was listening to that!" I yelled

"We need to talk" he said, ignoring me.

"Talking is for losers" With that I put my earphones back in and he didn't try to talk to me again.

This was going to be a fun day.
