Usamara Legends

Prologue

TRISTEN
I am Tristen and for the longest time, I have wondered where I come from. I can not remember a thing from my past. The age ten is as far back as I can remember and I'm 16 right now. And also for as long as I can remember I've lived with may.

May is silly, funny, sassy and definitely drives me nuts sometimes. We have a complicated relationship. We're close like two peas in a pod. I guess the easiest thing to say, is that we're really close friends.

The human race has not always been on usamara.life on earth is different than life on Usamara. Well, that is what the adults say. Around 30 or 31 years ago the earth was destroyed.

Right now it's 2118. May doesn't know everything so sometimes I look up stuff myself. Even though she acts like a " know it all " she really doesn't know everything. May has always said she thinks I have a secret power of wisdom or something.

Since she's a Ultraloi ,  (Ultraloi - have healing skills and one animal that they can change into) she always says she senses a strong Aura from me. I never know what she means by this. For what I know is I'm just a human. sometimes I just think she's trying to make me feel better about having no powers like her.

But then again I don't know a thing about my past. I always have thoughts that surround me. They make me aspire to find out one way or another. I'm always thinking about the past or the future.

These same few questions always arise.
Where did I come from? Do I have powers I don't know about yet? Am I a different species or really just human? And am I good enough?

MAY
I am May, and I am a Ultraloi. Usamara is my home. I really love being able to live here. In some ways, I'm kinda content with what happened with earth.

If it wasn't for earth dying a lot of us wouldn't have changed. I know I talk as if I was there when everything happened. But honestly, this is just the stuff in the history books. In fact, it brought everyone closer than ever.

Usamara is one of those planets you only dream of. But for us its the real deal living here. Due to moving into space it changed some peoples life. Some people turned into Ultraloi, Dragons, fairies and or just gained powers.

The other half of people from the earth stayed the same thought. Kind of like tristen. But tristen is special though I can tell his not an ordinary human. I can feel his strong aura.

If only there was a way to prove this conspiracy of mine. Sometimes I feel bad for tristen not knowing about his past. hopefully One day he will find out. I really hope that day comes soon because I'm quite curious about this my self.

Here's another thing me and tristen are trying into this group. To be exact the "Space Warriors". The space warriors are a special group of people who go up into space, discover new planets and destroy asteroids coming towards Usamara. The Main reason is to find a neighboring planet because we are running out of resources.

Tristen thinks very low of his self. But every day I see him working his butt off so one day he can make it up in the group. This makes me want to give my all too. There's only going to be the top 5 people in this group though.

I plan on making this team. Im going to give it my all. And I can't wait to see the day when me and Tristen are standing tall as one of the few who are out in space. It's been a dream of ours sense we were kids .
