das Has - the house
„das" is the neutral article. Always study the articles from the beginning. It'll help you later a lot. In the next lesson you know why.
das Haus - the house
der Mann - the man
die Frau - the woman
das Bett - the bed
die Straße - the street (ß is spoken like s)
die Mutter - the mother
der Vater - the father (in this case v is spoken like f)
das Kind - the child
der Sohn - the son (a vowel with an H behind it are long)
die Tochter - the daughter
die Schule - the school
Deutschland - Germany
Österreich - Austria
die Schweiz - Switzerland
