The dress I'm throwing over my head is itchy and frilly, and my auntie's dress shoes are far too small on my feet. The ensemble will have to do though, because I don't have my dress shoes anymore and I need to be presentable for church. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly eager to go, since I haven't had luck running into Luke in town since the day at the supermarket, and I know he will be at the service. He's not a pastor yet, but he always reads from the bible for us and sometimes sings in the choir.
