AMBER SPUN ON her chair as Steve watched a monitor that showed Bucky in a glass cage like contraction, being secured by four men.

"Hey! You wanna see something cool?" Tony asked walking in the door, shooting Amber a warm smile, as the two looked at him.

"I pulled something from dads archives" he continued, Steve sat on the chair besides Ambers as Tony walked towards them placing a box containing three old thick pens, "FDR signed the land-lease bills with these in 1941, provided support to the allies when they needed it the most".

"Someone said it brought our country closer to war" Steve said, smirking in satisfaction looking up at Tony,

"See, if not for these, you wouldn't be here" Tony shot back at him, "I'm trying to... what do you call it...eh...an al'fermage? Is that what you call it?",

"Is Pepper here?" Amber piped up wanting to escape the testosterone in the room,

Tony looked down awkwardly, "We're...kind of... Well not kind of",

"Pregnant?" Steve guessed with a small smile,

"No, definitely not" Tony sighed, "We're taking a break. It's nobodies fault.",

"I'm sorry Tony, I didn't realise..." Amber said quietly,

"Few years ago I almost lost her. So I trashed all my suits, then we had to mop up Hydra, and then well...Ultron, my fault. And then and then and then, I never stopped, because the truth is I don't wanna stop" Tony said putting his hands up, he looked like the simplest mention of Pepper was physically hurting him,

"I don't want to lose her, I though maybe the accords could split the difference" Tony said getting out of his chair, "In her defense, I'm a handful. Yet Dad was always a pain in the ass, but him and mom made it work."

"You know I'm glad Howard got married, I only knew him when he was young and single" Steve grinned at the memory,

"Oh, you knew him? He never mentioned that,maybe only a thousand times." Tony replied sarcastically, "God I hated you", Amber stifled a small laugh at his comment.

"I don't mean to make things difficult" Steve said his eyebrows scrunching together.
