Chapter 1 - Lucky Days

You climb the few steps leading to your front door, grabbing ahold of your house keys. You get inside and close the door behind you, placing your bag next to the door. 

"Ahh! That went so well!" 

You congratulate yourself for making the job interview go so smoothly. Looking at the time you wipe off the small amount of makeup from your face and change into comfortable clothes. You flop yourself onto your soft and bouncy bed, cuddling into the warm blankets and delicately laying your head onto the pillow.

You browse on your phone for a few minutes then fall asleep shortly after. You dream of the great things that could happen in your future and about your favourite things. You were soaring through the sky when you decide to land ontop of a nice building, Something catches your attention. It's a boy with fluffy white hair and destinctive horns and a long tail. He's sitting on the edge, dangling his legs and looking down into the city.

"Oh, hi! I didn't see you there.."

You say in the friendliest voice you can muster. You wait for a reply but he says nothing. You walk closer to him, reaching your hand out to touch his shoulder but he starts to turn his head around. You jump back in surprise as he starts to stand up and walk closer to you while you walk backwards away from him. You stop at the edge of the roof and tremble as he stares at you blankly while still walking closer.

"W-What are you doing?...Answer me!"

You stutter, trying to sound intimidating but it doesn't seem to work. He stops in front of you and smiles. It catches you off guard and you give him a confused look. He comes closer to your ear and whispers.

"Bye..Bye."

You feel a push on your stomach, you loose your balance and start falling off screaming with fear. You watch as he looks down at you waving and smiling. Right when you were a few inches from the ground you wake up, covered in a cold sweat. You breathe heavily and look at your surroundings.

'Oh...it was just..a..dream.' You sigh in relief. 'That..boy...' You scratch your head, wondering about what and who that boy was. You shrugged it off and went back to sleep.

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!*

You wake up to the loud and annoying sound of your alarm. It rings in your ear as you groan and turn it off, it takes you a minute to start moving again and stretch. You yawn and get out of your bed, making yourself some (morning drink) and showering to get ready for work.

You're walking to your car after a long day at work, you're crossing the empty road until a red Mercedes zooms toward you passing the speed limit. You yelp and sprint over when it barely misses you, the wind behind it makes your (h/l) hair flow in the air. You exhale, grabbing your chest in disbelief. 

'I am so lucky to be alive right now. What the heck just happened!?'

You look behind you and people are staring at you with open mouths. You feel someone's hand on your shoulder, turning around you see it's your old friend.

"Oh my god! (y/n), are you alright!?" She asks.

"Y-Yeah, just experienced a mini heart attack...And a near death experience." You answer still a bit shaken by what had happened.

"Okay okay.." She sighs "Glad you're alright..." She embraces you "B-But you could've died! And I couldn't ever see you again!"

"I-It's fine! I'm okay. You see?" You say showing her your front and back "No scratches whatsoever!"

"I guess you're right..!" She smiles.

You'd filed a report and taken care of the speeding car, You got home safely and is now sitting down on the couch watching the tv. You check your phone time to time as your friend keeps asking if you are okay and if you're sure you don't have injuries, you appreciate her concern but it starts getting annoying so you left it charging in your bedroom.
