NOTE: All my respects, but I don't know what were they thinking when they cast Mackenzie Foy as Clara. I think the role should have gone to an ACTUAL dancer. You know, every little dancer dreams of being in "The Nutcracker". This would have given a dancer amazing opportunities. Maybe if Chloe or Sarah (or even Maddie Ziegler) got cast in the movie, maybe someday one of them could get cast in an actual production of the ballet? But Disney missed an amazing opportunity to showcase more talent and to retell the actual story from the ballet instead of making a darker adaptation, which "The Nutcracker" doesn't need. Mackenzie is a talented actress, BUT I doubt we'll be seeing her dance in the movie. Which is sad, you know? The ballet is so good! As French people say, "C'est dommage".

Let's hope, for example, when the ballet "Giselle" gets adapted in a movie by Disney, Chloe or Sarah gets the part of Giselle.
