Goodnight // Taehyung AU //

They wanted to go abroad instead of staying local. They wanted to explore new places but just before they booked heir flights Taehyung fell ill and claimed he didn't want to ruin the holiday abroad if he remained sick so they should go local instead. She had agreed, knowing health insurance for travelling was quite expensive anyway and they could stay local for a fraction of the price of their health insurance alone.

They had booked a cabin for their holidays, a place with great reviews and a place where Taehyung used to stay as a child.

She smiled, lacing her fingers with Taehyung's as they walked deeper into the forest to the little 'glamping' cabin. They didn't want to stay in a tent during autumn so they decided to stay in the cabin.

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder and he grinned looking down at her.

"Our first proper holiday since we got together which was two years ago." He grinned softly. "Just me and you. No stress of anybody else, including family."

"Tell me about it." She laughed softly. "If I had to have my sister walk into our room whilst we were watching films again, just to get between us and then fall asleep, I was going to scream."

"Your sister is adorable, but not in the same way you are. Your exquisite." He mumbled stopping and pecking her lips gently before the cabin came into view. There was a lake shimmering in the distance behind it, and it looked worn down, but cosy.

"Just us for a week." She sighed happily, reaching into Taehyung's pocket with an innocent smile as she took the key and walked ahead to unlock the door.

Taehyung looked at her with a large smile. "I've got you for a week." He spoke quietly to himself. "One week and you're mine forever."
