We may fall (book two of the wolves series)

Chapter 1.

'mercy' Nicholas said softly 

"Oh Nicholas you are okay" mercy cried 

(I bet anyone who hasn't read this book before is wondering what is happening, go read wolves of the woodland)

I looked up at my father "You did this to him!" I yelled as Nicholas holding my hand

I let go of Nicholas and went to my father "You will rot in the sun with your dear uncle" I say gathering all the power I never wanted  

in one blow he was gone I let out a breath I didn't  know I was holding in 

"we will be okay I promise Nicolas, for now, we should get you to the pack doctor," Mercy said softly  'i trust that it will because I have you" he breathed out

mercy picked him up in her arms and carried him through the battlefield, she felt a pain in her chest it was unusual for her to hurt when someone hadn't even attacked near her chest. then it struck her like a bolt of lighting she was hurting because it hurt to see Nicholas like this even if he could be a dork, he was her dork and he always would be.

she walked towards the pack doctor holding up Nicholas  she walked into the pack doctor's  building "I need some assistance stat" mercy yelled a nurse rushed in he gasped "What happened" he asked breathlessly 

"My father " mercy said sorrowfully, looking at her feet 

"Well let me take him I will get other doctors and nurses on his case immediately," he said  taking Nicholas from me "Please take care of him," Mercy said shedding a small tear "Oh before you take him can I stay here until he is stable," she said quickly, the nurse nodded before he took away Nicholas.

Over the next few days, mercy would not eat or drink anything all she would do was sit outside Nicholas's door waiting for them to tell her that she could come in,  Chia and Remo and Miyana  would come and try to convince her to eat or drink something she would just tell them that she was fine

the reality was she wasn't she needed Nicholas she didn't know how much she loved him until this happened but one day she knew she had to stop sulking and take the reins from Chia and Remo, they couldn't do everything they had Nicholas to help them before   now he was in a weakened state he only had seen his mother a few times but the doctors thought mercy going in may be to much shock right now 

mercy got up out of the soft chair she rarely left and walked to the pack house  she got looks of surprise as she walked to it 

the moment she walked in she saw Remo and chia sitting down they looked at her and Chia ran over to her "You look so much better" she said squishing mercy in her grip "thank you, Chia," mercy said, Chia let go of mercy and lead her upstairs grabbing  a pastry for mercy 

they soon arrived at Chia's room 

chia grabbed mercy some clothing and pushed her into the shower "You'll thank me, trust me"  she said

Mercy de-robed and turned on the shower to the perfect temperature and stepped in the  shower the warm water cascading down her back

she soon got out of the shower and put on the ripped jeans and a bra then a tank top then a lace top and then walked out of the bathroom Chia gasped "You look lovely" she said with a grin and handing mercy a pair of  combat boots "Thank you Chia now what can I do right now" mercy asked.  

"Well why not you come down and talk with the pack members" she suggested 

"I can do that" mercy said more to herself than anyone "Well come on Nicholas will be so proud of you," she said grabbing mercy's hand and leading her downstairs to where most of the pack was and she sat her down with them

why hello I know it has been a little while but here is the first chapter of We may fall The second book of the woodland series I feel bad for putting sweet mercy through this,  she is like my child I feel bad.

 but for now, I hope you enjoyed
