S1 | Trouble in Lumpy Space

Lumpy Space Princess rolls her eyes and closes them as she speaks, "Wow. Now I know how you really feel. I was just trying to help, but whatever." She opens her eyes and realizes, her expression changes as she raises her voice.

"No. No, not whatever! I know I mess things up sometimes, but I'm really trying! And you're supposed to be my friend!" She begins to tear up as Finn looks down at the lumpy clouds. "Not like the fake ones I have here! So do what you want! I'm going to Promcoming!" She starts to float away, but looks back at Jake, "Are you coming or not, Lumpy Jake?"

"No. Because no matter how messed up and lumpy I get, these guys never turn their backs on me!" Suddenly, Jake finally transform into a Lumpy Space person, making his accent come back, "Oh, yeah. Right behind ya. Just gotta turn my back on these guys." He literally does so as Lumpy Jake follows behind Lumpy Space Princess.

The two enter the car and drive off, leaving Finn and (Y/n) stranded at Makeout Point. "JAKE! IT'S ALMOST SUNSET!!" Finn shouts as he and (Y/n) watch the car drive off. (Y/n) looks back to see Finn distressed, "Jake...I didn't save him... I..."

(Y/n) walks over to him and tried to comfort him, "Finn--" But the response she got was him yelling wildly and angrily as he begins to punch the ground repeatedly. (Y/n) puts her hands up and slowly backs away. "I'LL KILL YOU, LUMPY SPAAAAAACE!!" He screams.

'He's slowly going mad..' (Y/n) thoughts before hearing a familiar voice, "Jam on, man!" Both humans turn around to see the three lumps looking over them, "Huh? I thought you guys left!" (Y/n) bewilders. "We were drawn back by his plaintive wall. We dig his directionless fury."

"Um, thanks." Finn gets up from the ground as he makes his way beside's his best friend, "Respect. Here." Monty tosses Finn the sphere. "Take it. Win your girl back!"

"Yeah, there's no girl. But there is time to save Jake!" Finn beams. (Y/n) asks, "Do you guys know where Promcoming is?"

They gesture over the ledge, indicating that it's below them. Finn and (Y/n) walk over the ledge and look down as Monty speaks again, "Promcoming takes place way down on that land-lump."

"Awesome. Do any of y'all have wheels?"

Monty sighs sadly, "Nah. We were all ditched here just like you two." Finn ponders for a moment, making (Y/n) inquest, "What's your plan, Finn-dawg?" She swings her arm around his shoulder, listening to what he has to say. His eyes avert over to her, "You might not like it, but it'll probably work."

"Look, whatever it is to make sure Jake isn't lumpy, I'll follow through it." She pats his shoulder, making him give a cheeky smile. (Y/n) removes her arm and looks over at the three guys, then back at Finn.

"Ok, well, you think I can make it to that land-lump if I jumped off this cliff?" He asks, "You kidding?! A smoothie like you will plummet right into th eternal void!"

"What if I was lumpy? Could I float over?" Shortly, (Y/n)'s eyes widen as she turns to her friend, "I change my mind about following through it, this is stupid! It's almost sunset and you could be lumpy forever is you don't sit on the sphere on time!"

"(Y/n), it might work."

"No, no! It's too dangerous!" Monty interjected, totally denying the idea, but Glasses didn't, "I'd say there's a 50/50 chance of you making it!"

"That's good enough for me. Now bite me!!" The three respond in disbelief, heck, even (Y/n) started to disagree along with them. Finn rolls his eyes as he forces them to bit him.

Finn starts turning lumpy exceeding quickly, "Yes! I can feel the multiple bites accelerating the lumpification process! I'm starting to float!" And in short minutes, he starts to float. He looks over at the edge as (Y/n) rushes over to his side, "Don't jump guy!!"

"I have to! For our buddy!" Finn looks over at (Y/n) and quickly grabs her hand. He jumps as they scream, "FIIIINNN! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!" She cries, glaring at her friend.

Fortunately, they successfully land through the roof of Promcoming. "Ah, we made it! And there he is!" He lets go of her hand as he his grip on the sphere tightens. They get up and rush over towards to Lumpy Jake, "Jake! Finn's mostly lumpy now! And we totally think you should sit on this sphere!" (Y/n) screeches, pushing what just happened away.

"No!"

Finn tries to force him to sit on it, but unfortunately to no avail, "Sit on it!" He begs, but Lumpy Jake slaps the sphere from the boy's hands, "No!!"

Finn then goes to his knees, "Please, Jake! You're our best friend! Just sit on the sphere!" Lumpy Jake looks at them before realizing who they were, "Chyah! I remember you guys! You two are just smoothie wannabe lumpy poser!" Lumpy Jake sassed, looking at them.

(Y/n) grab's Lumpy Jake's torso and tries to place him down on the sphere, "Sit on it!! Before Finn turns completely lumpy!!"

"NO!!" Lumpy Jake yells, slapping (Y/n)'s hands away. She looks over at Finn and gives a nervous look as he starts to transform, "Oh, no! I can feel the lumpiness... about to consume me!!" In which, Finn finally transforms into a Lumpy Space person, making (Y/n)'s mouth hang a bit.

"Not two of them!" She mumbled. She looked at the sphere on the ground and tried to grab it, but Lumpy Finn got to it first, "Oh, yah. Being lumpy's the best." Lumpy Jake turns and speaks to Lumpy Finn, "Hey. Stop talkin' to yourself, dumb guy. Take your ball and get outta here."

"Fine. I don't want you to have it anyway."
"So I can't have it now, eh?"
"That's right. it's mine."

There was silence. (Y/n) slowly crept over and tried to gently remove the sphere from Lumpy Finn's arms, but of course, it didn't happen as Lumpy Jake started to scream and shout. "GIMMIE THAT BALL!!" (Y/n) quickly backed away, again putting her hands up.

"NO! You can't have it!"
"I want it! Give it to me!"
"You want it that bad? Go get it, then!"

Lumpy Finn throws the ball away, making (Y/n) dash for it. Lumpy Jake floats over to it and sits on top of it, "Bumps, bi--" As soon as he placed his bottom on the sphere, he turns back to normal and gasps, "Jake! You're back to normal!" (Y/n) grinned.

"I-I am?" He looks down at himself, "I'm not lumpy anymore! Oh, no." Jake takes the sphere and the two charge over to Lumpy Finn, "Finn buddy! You gotta sit on this!" (Y/n) cried. Lumpy Finn glances over and directly tries to float away from them.

"No! You can't make me! Smooth---OOF!" Lumpy Finn runs into a muscular Lumpy Space person and surprisingly gets knocked out.

"Finn! Hey, Finn! Hey, buddy! Finn!" Both (Y/n) and Jake chanted as they shook Finn. He slowly opens his eyes and takes what's around him, "Huh?"

"Hey, dude. We made it." Jake says, as (Y/n) nods along. "Man.." Finn holds his head as he sits up, "There's something cold under my butt." He looks down and notices the sphere, "Oh!" He laughs, "The antidote! Just in time, too!"

He gets up and looks over to see LSP looking away. He instantly walks over to the three as he starts apologizing, "LSP, I'm sorry I blew up at you before, I didn't mean it. I was just really stressed out." He rubs the back of his hat as Lumpy Space Princess turns around and smiles at him.

"You know, it's fine. You, (Y/n), and Jake can make it up to me by dancing this last dance with me." Both (Y/n) and Finn nod, "Sounds good to me. Whaddaya say, Jake?" Finn looks over at his yellow friend, waiting for an approval, but the response he got was a lumpy accent from Jake, "That sounds totally lame."

Everyone gasps, but this makes Jake laugh as he returns back to his normal voice, "I'm just kidding. Let's dance!"

With that, everyone resumes dancing as everyone enjoyed their time. (Y/n) stopped her dancing as she peered over at her crush. She smirked as she trots her way over to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

He turns around a gives a toothy grin, "Hey, (N/n)--" But it was soon interrupted by a slap across the face, "OW! What the blub (Y/n)!"

She gives him a finger, "That's for making yourself turn lumpy and risked us on fall into the eternal abyss!" His face softens as he looks down at the ground, "I guess that's fair." (Y/n) grab's the collar of Finn's shirt and brings him into a hug.

"And that's for coming back on time. I was afraid that I'd have to deal with Lumpy Finn and, not you." Spontaneously, Finn's face flushes red as (Y/n) nuzzled her head against his hat. Hesitantly, he hugged back, chuckling, "Yeah, good thing, or else I wouldn't be able to prank you with goblins anymore."

(Y/n) gasps as she breaks the hug and gives a punch to his shoulder, "So you were the one who sent those goblins at me when I was SWIMMING in the LAKE!" He chuckles, "Yeah!"

"I'M SO GOING TO KILL YOU!!" And with that, Finn starts racing away as (Y/n) started to hunt him down. While that was happening, Jake and Lumpy Space Princess watched the whole scene happen.

"They're totally in love." Jake starts, as the purple princess looks over at them, "How do you know that? Maybe their just being friendly." Jake looks up at Lumpy Space and replies, "I know love when I see it, and it's pretty obvious that Finn loves her back."

LSP shrugs as Jake and her continue to watch (Y/n)'s quest to hunt down Finn.
