S1 | Trouble in Lumpy Space

"We're already here! Hi, Finn." Melissa states, blushing as she looks over at the boy. "We've been here for, like, five minutes." Lumpy Space Princess remarks.

"Finally!" The two humans exclaimed, jumping out of the car. Their smile turns to a confused look as they see a house, "Huh? This doesn't look like Makeout Point." Finn points, turning over to the Lumpy People.

Melissa got out her car as she started to walk over to the house, but only stops when she hears Finn. She turns, "This is Brad's house. You wanted a ride to Makeout Point? You think I wanted to make out with you?!" She picks Finn up by the shirt as she waits for an answer.

"Uh..."

She looks away, blushing, "Well, maybe I do, but... wait--" She looks back at Finn with an irritated expression, "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND, FINN!!" She yells, throwing him behind as he hits the car.

He lets out a groan as (Y/n) makes her way over to him, "You alright there?" She questions, giving him a hand. He looks up at her and delighted takes her hand. He pushed himself up and gives a toothy smile at her, "I'm fine, but.." His smile fades away as he turns over to Lumpy Space Princess.

"LSP, we gotta hurry! Jake's running out of time!" 

Lumpy Space Princess sighs as the two sit back in the car, impatiently, "Hey. This is hard for me too. I mean, I used to eat chili cheese fries with Brad... so there's gonna be a lot of romantic tension on this ride!" Again, she lets out a sigh as her eyes travel to her left.

There she sees her ex-boyfriend, Brad, standing next to her best friend, "Hey." He waves, "Oh, Braaaad.." Melissa picks Brad's hand and starts shaking him while she giggles. Once she stops shaking him, he notices Lumpy Space Princess and asks, "You miss me yet, LSP?"

Lumpy Space Princess mutters, sullenly, "Scooch over, (Y/n). I'm gonna sit in the back."

Finally, what felt like hours to them, they eventually reached Makeout Point, "This is it." The princess tells as Melissa parks the car, "Let's go!" Finn shouts as him, (Y/N), and Jake jumped out of the car and begin to make their way up, but they get stopped by Lumpy Space Princess, "Wait. Watch yourself, guys. The guys who use the antidote up here are notorious for being..." She leans in and whispers, "smooth posers."

"What does that mean?"

"It just means what it means. Hurry. Get the antidote so we can get outta here." She says, looking off to the side. (Y/n) smiles, "Thanks, LSP."

With that, they start running, but they were stopped once again by Lumpy Space Princess, "BUUUUMPS." They turn around, "Um...bumps."

"Uh, yeah, bumps."
"Bumps.."

Then, Jake's skin bulges up more, "Aw, man!" Thy quicken their pace as they come across three Lumpy Space People, Glasses, Monty, and Lenny.

"Hey, guys. Lookin' smooth!"

"Really? You think we're smooth?" Glasses perks up a smile forming across his face, "Well, mostly you in the center, but yeah!" (Y/n) speaks, "Why are you sucking up to us?" Monty asks, getting annoyed by the second, "Our best friend needs an antidote for lumpiness."

"Chya, lumpiness suuucks. Hey Monty, time's up, sphere-hog!" Lenny exclaims as he pushes Monty off a sphere he was sitting on. As he was pushed off, he becomes lumpy. "My turn!" Lenny sits on the sphere and becomes smooth. He pushes his cap backward and looks at them.

"So the antidote is in that orb you were sitting on!" Finn says, "This orb is the antidote, bruh." Lenny points at the sphere with both of his fingers, "Can our friend borrow it?" (Y/n) steps in.

"Yeah, sure, as long as you give it back." Lenny gets up from the sphere and tosses it to Finn. "Hammacow. Thanks, fellas."

As they were about to head back to the car, Lumpy Space Princess enters, "What's taking so long? Did those smooth-heads give you the orb already, or what?" She scoffs, giving Glasses, Monty, and Lenny a look. Lenny gives her a look back as he floats over and takes the sphere back, "Wait!!"

"Is this another friend of yours?"

"What do you care? Just give 'em the antidote already, and stop being such a poser." Lumpy Space Princess, again, scoffs as she rolls her eyes. Finn, (Y/n), and Jake looked over at the three lumps to see them floating away.

"Sorry, kids. We changed our minds." With that, they completely float away from them. Finn turns around, filled with rage as he lashes out, "Why did you have to say all those rude things to them?!"

"What? I was helping you."

He groans, "Thanks a lot! They were right about to hand over the antidote!" Lumpy Space Princess response back bitterly, "You're welcome a lot."

"Finn--" (Y/n) tried to intervene from making Finn go any further, but he didn't even bother looking at (Y/n) as he continued to lash, "You insulted them! And they got mad! And now Jake's gonna be lumpy forever! This is all your fault!!" He screeches, glaring at her.
