Dear Diary,
I don't even know why I'm writing in this stupid thing. My mom said it would help me clear my head when it came to my depression. And anxiety. And a whole list of stuff that would fill this entire book.
My name is Amber-Lee. I'm 17 and I have a dog who is the love of my life. Depressing, I know. My mom and dad got divorced after I tried to kill myself when I was 14. It was because of the arguing that went on when they thought I wasn't around. I thought it was because of me. They ended up separating because my dad cheated on my mom. For that reason I am not allowed to see him anymore. I wouldn't want to anyways, I hate him.
I got to North Shore High and I'm a senior. I have a best friend. Her name is Elanor. El is the sweetest girl ever. She was my only friend when everyone bullied me for my dad cheating. She really helped me out. She will be my bestie for life.
That's enough for now, and ever. I promised my mom I would at least write in this thing at least once.
