I smile at Lauren's word's " it's on 72nd street just passed the high school" I say the boy smiles "thank you so much " he says hugging me " you're very welcome now go before our family hears you" I say the boy nods his head and grabs his father's hand and rushes out of our house " I can't believe you just gave up your old house " lauren says wrapping her arms around my waist I smile and wrap my arms around here neck "they needed a home and I already have one " I say she smiles and kisses me
Later on that day Lauren's POV
I was watching some tv when I hear a knock on our door " I'll get it " I yell upstairs to Camila who was most likely reading The fault in our stars again " okay Augustus Waters " she yells back I smile and shake my head , I make my way to the door and open it to see Mike" hey mike " I say , he looks up from the ground his eyes are red " were you crying? " I ask him "Lauren it's ally " he says walking passed me and going to the living room
"what's wrong with ally " Camila says coming downstairs I turn to her and see that she already has tears in her eyes "what's going on " I ask him "she was attacked by something I don't know what but she's in bad shape and I need you to turn me so I could give her my blood " he says " mike you know I can't " I say my voice lower than I thought it would be "please Lauren I can't lose ally " he begged "you know I'm the only one who could save her " he continued
I knew this he's ally's true love and only the blood of a vampire's true love can save them but ally made us swear to never change him and I can't break my promise to her "she made you promise but she never made me " Camila says stepping closer to mike "Camz" I say " Lauren I almost lost you , I know how it feels to be close to losing the only person who loves you unconditionally I'm going to turn him ally could be mad at me all she wants but I'm not gonna her die and let mike suffer without her " she says "thank you " mike and I say "mike this is gonna hurt you're gonna feel as if you're on fire " she says he nods , Camila picks up his arm "doesn't have to be in my neck?" he asked
"no it could be anywhere as long as it gets into your blood " I say " camila looks at me and closes her eyes before digging her fangs into mike's wrist , mike lets out a loud scream "fuck !!" he screams as camila let's go of him mike's body falls to the floor "lauren what's happening " camila asked "he's turning we all react like this cause of the vemon we carry human bodies aren't used to it so this is how they react " i explain to her i remember it when she was turning she was knocked out from the pain but i saw how her body shaked , i hated watching her but i never left her side mike's screams are loader than hers were "camz go to the kitchen and bring a thing of blood he's gonna need some " i tell her she nods and walks to the kitchen , i walk over to mike and pick up his head "mike hey listen to me you have to fight the pain the faster you do the quicker you'll be able to save ally " i say he looks up at me his eyes begging for the pain to stop "here babe " camz says handing me the blood "mike you have to drink it will help " i say he nods i bite into the bag and the blood instanly starts to pour down mike's throat he falls asleep after he finished the whole bag
A Few Hours Later
" Lauren He's Up " Camila says coming into the kitchen I stand up from my chair and walk to the living room and see mike standing up "where's ally ?" he asked " she's with our parents , she's still alive " I tell him after he had knocked out i called my parents and asked about ally she was in bad shape but she was still hanging on was all my mother told me "listen i'm gonna give you some more blood you're gonna need some more " i say he nods and follows me to the kitchen , i toss him a bag of blood and he finishes it before i could turn back around to get him another one
after he finished his blood we all walked to my parents house as I walk in I could smell the sent of a wolf but I knew this wasn't Michael " it was a wolf " I say this makes mike stop "a wolf ? Lauren we live in Miami how the hell is a wolf gonna hurt ally " he say I swear sometimes he's an idiot " mike not a normal wolf a werewolf!" I explain "but the only pack in the city is Michael's " Camila says "not anymore Camz" I say , I could see the fear in Camila's eyes " don't worry I'll protect you " I say pulling her too my side
