Prologue
A story of a scared woman meeting an angry man.

"Why a-are you doing all o-of this?" I blurted our, causing him to halt again, his hand on the doorknob. "Why d-do th-this for me?" It was the question that I never seemed to get and answer to. Why did he have such an interest in me? Why save the scared girl time and time again, the very girl who can't every properly look him in the eyes or make a fluid sentence?
He faced me again and frowned deeper, his eyes searching my face, as if the answer was stamped there. He stood tall, his grip on the doorknob causing the tendons in his tatted arm to stand out.
"I...I don't know, to be honest," he muttered, a rasp lacing his words along with confusion. "I am not one to do anything like this. I have never been a nice guy."

So I have read this book about five times now? It's so good that I just can't get enough of it. Harry and Elizabeth are such different people that wouldn't normally go together but I'm so happy they did. This book is literally everything and I really hope you check it out because words can't express how much I love it.
