so i've mentioned this a few times in the past, but my little sister, noveigh, who is about to be nine months old, is completely losing her sight.
she was born prematurely (when my mom was six months pregnant), and she had a really, really extreme birth defect. the doctor's couldn't detect how it would manifest in her, but her eyesight has always been terrible.
fast forward to about two months ago, when noveigh started to run into things. constantly. she can hardly even crawl, as she will fall down or ram into a wall every single time. so my mom takes her to the doctor, and they tell us that noveigh will be completely blind by the time she is ten.
my baby sister won't be able to see. ever again.
and now they're saying it could be earlier. when she's 4-5 years old she could be completely blind.
it's really scary and i'm really stressing about it.
