Chapter 13: Test and Past

I took out a Stone Orb and placed it onto the field.

"Those who want to participate. Please step up one by one."

As they tested their power onto the Orb.

I sat down on a chair and used my magic to keep track of each contestant power.

I closed my eyes and waited until everyone was done.

But then there was one of the contestant that surprised me.

I opened my eyes and got up.

I walked up to him and whispered something into his ear.

"Stay behind after everyone finished. Do not speak of this matter to anyone."

He nodded and I went back to sit down.

After the 1st phase was done. Only 3 of them surprised me.

"Everyone shall head to the 2nd phase. Which is in the forest."

All: Yes.

They all left and the 3 that I had whispered to, stayed behind.

"You 3 have surprised me. You shall join in the competition in Shuiyu Kingdom. With the rest of the members."

All: Yes.

"After the test finish. Stay behind."

All: Yes.

"Mm. Then you are dismissed."

They left and I headed to the forest.

Once I arrived they all remained silent and looked at me.

I jumped onto a tree and stood on the branch.

"The 2nd phase is Endurance and Stamina."

"Zhongli Yali."

I casted a strong pressure on all of them.

But only 4 people resisted the pressure.

I kept the pressure there for a couple of min. Before lowering the pressure.

After a couple of hours. I was only using a little pressure.

Most were up and there were only 52 people who couldn't handle this kind of pressure.

I released the pressure and jumped down.

I letted them rest for a while then I had them run 50 laps.

It was a test of stamina.

Only a few had completed the lap and there were 128 who didn't pass it.

The four who had completed the endurance test surprised me again. They completed the test in 10 min.

"Rest up for a bit."

I was setting up some stuff while they kept their eyes on me to examine the next test.

"Your final test is Strategy. You will be paired in groups of 4 or 5. No more then that. You are to steal one of the bells from the tiger guards. You'll have a time limit of 5 minutes. Also the tiger guards will attack you. If you are all knocked out. Then the tiger guards will win. Do you understand?"

All: Yes.

"Then the test may begin."

After 2 hours have passed. Only 2 groups passed the test.

I called out the people who passed the test to stay behind and I dismissed everyone.

After everyone left. I looked at them.
