Now onto the story

✨August Jr's POV

"Yo bruh can you leave me alone for like 2 minutes" I said to Mia cuz I'm tryna eat my lunch and shit but she keep talking

After a few minutes my friends Drew and Dre started laughing

"Man he basically told you to shut cho ass up" drew said

I shook my head at them cuz they always hyping up something even if it's something small

"Shut up drew. I'll see you later baby" Mia said kissing my cheek and leaving

"I'll see you later baby" Dre said mimicking Mia causing Drew to laugh

"I'm leaving" I said grabbing my shit and leaving the table

Leave it to these niggas to ruin my lunch time

Those are my friends-

Drew: 16 years old, likes to thank of everything as a joke even when everyone isn't laughing. Doesn't have a girlfriend which is his excuse of chatting it up with the freshman ladies at our school. Has a little sister named Deanna (De De) who's a freshman and has a crush on me

Dre: 17 years old, plays on the schools basketball/football team also runs track and plays lacrosse when basketball/football season is over. Doesn't have a girlfriend but has some girls in mind of who he'll be taking to his senior prom this year

✨Armani's POV

"Girl you gotta hook me up with your brother seriously" my best friend Mackenzie (Mack) said

"Why, my brother is not that cute and plus he's annoying" I said eating some of my chicken

"He's cute to me" Mack said

"Yeah and totally not on the market" my other friend Yasmin said

These are my friends-

Mack: had a crush on my brother August since we were in the 3rd grade when he shared his art set with her. She's 17 just like us and has an older brother named Micah who's in college

Yasmin: likes girls, we've been friends since we were 9 years old. She's 17 also and has two younger sisters who are twins: Ayana and Ava as well as an older brother Amir who lives with their dad in Denver

"Yeah he'll be on the market soon though. I know she gives him a headache" Mack said

"She may give him a headache but haven't they been on and off since 9th grade" Yasmin said drinking her soda

"Yeah but it's our senior year things are bound to change" Mack said

I nodded my head because it's true who knows where we're gonna be going for college

"So what university do y'all plan on attending next fall" I said

"Well since I play lacrosse I'm thinking about applying to Florida A&M, Stetson, savannah state and a couple other division 1 colleges" Yasmin said

"You should apply to UCLA I heard their sports teams are pretty good" I said

"I know, coach says I might have an actual shot at these schools being that I'm the best on the team. He said I should apply to duke though" Yasmin said

"That's awesome, what about you Mack" I said

"I don't know, I haven't decided" Mack said

"So what are you gonna do" I said

"Probably stay in the state for a year and then branch out I guess, I haven't really thought about it" Mack said eating a French fry

"Well you still got some time, just think about it we don't have to make a decision right now" I said

"I know. I just don't know what's gonna happen if I do leave, my parents are divorced so every other holiday or the breaks I'm gonna be jumping from my moms place to my dads place" Mack said

"Hey it's not so bad, at least your parents are being cordial my mom won't even answer the door when my dad picks us up she just says goodbye to me and the twins then rushes upstairs to her bedroom" Yasmin said

"And then there's me the one with parents who aren't divorced, who've been together since I was born" I said

I guess that's how things are nowadays, families don't stay together for long and it's sad to say the least. Yasmin has to bounce from house to house and listen to her parents bicker about the little things while Mack has to jump from her moms house to her dads house every other holiday while I live in a household where both of my parents are together aside from when dad has to do shows.

✨Keisha's POV (long time, Ik)

"How are we gonna tell the kids" I said looking at August

"Don't worry, we'll tell them tonight I'm sure their gonna be just as happy as we are" August said kissing my cheek

"And what if their not happy, then what. What are we gonna do then" I said

"Their almost off to college in a couple more months, and all these rooms we have it's more than enough. Don't stress it, bad things happen when people do nothing but think about the worst possible scenario" August said

I sighed "your right everything's gonna be okay, their gonna be happy. We're gonna be happy" I said smiling

"That's my girl, just remain calm and happy. Everything's gonna be just fine, I promise" August said
