Chapter Three
San.
Yui opened up the door to find a figure in all her glory. The one figure she tried to erase from her head for the time being. The figure who she couldn't stop thinking of regardless of the endless amounts of distractions that she'd try and force upon herself to simply make her feel better about the whole situation.
She stood there with tears frantically running down her face like there was no tomorrow.
Looking up to the sky – the girl could only gather that the rain had taken its toll and started to pour down forcefully. Yui could feel her heart drop at such a sight. Moa was never a person you'd want to see crying, the girl radiates way too much positivity around her to even deserve to hold any feelings of negativity that could make her feel like absolute crap.
At that very moment, Yui wanted to punch herself.
It was obvious to why Moa was crying.
How could she have been so selfish?
"M-Moa..." she stuttered, feeling a cold whip of the ice cold breeze take over her pores.
The brown haired girl looked directly back at her, with such an unrecognisable look in her eyes. It was clear enough that she was sad. To see it for your very eyes was certainly a kick in the backside for the bunny herself.
"Yui." she panted, wiping away the tears from her baggy eyes with her already soaked sleeve.
Silence soared between them. Yui stood there, scolding herself for being so selfish with handling the whole situation. She was supposed to be Moa's best friend. No best friend blocks the other out without a single explanation. Oh, how she wanted to slap herself on that very moment.
Moa tapped her shoe on the ground. "We need to talk." she said with such a demanding tone that it sent shivers up the girls spine.
-
"You must be freezing." Yui limped slightly to the sofa. "Did you really just travel all the way here just for me?"
Moa nodded nervously. "It's not that I had any choice."
"You were ignoring all my messages! How on earth do you expect me to react to that, Yui?" she pouted. It was most probably the worst scenario to happen from her perspective. Having your best friend just completely cut you out without a single word to conclude why they chose to do such a thing.
"I really felt like I lost you..." she sighed.
Yui could feel her heart drop into an endless abyss of guilt. It wasn't Moa's fault, never in a million years. Yet – she just didn't know how she was going to explain it from her perspective.
'Oh! Your best friend is a raging lesbian, and she almost took advantage of your friendship with her by almost kissing you!"
It just wouldn't end well from her perspective. It would make her look like an even worse person.
If only she could speak up about it to Moa, which would make it ten times easier. But – she knew that her inner doubts were keeping her captivate and stopping her from speaking up about anything.
"I just..." the older girl gulped, "Didn't feel like talking with anyone." she lied between the cracks of her teeth, looking down at her lap and refusing to look at her in the eyes with the fear that she'd dwell into that temptation once again.
Moa slammed her hand on the side of the sofa, with tears starting to form in her eyes once again. "Don't lie to me!" she raised her voice slightly.
