Chapter Two

Ni.

sheer temptation.

After the Legend S performances, Moa never left that hospital bedside. Luckily enough on Yui's behalf, it was only just a few days until she was able to be discharged from the large hospital complex and rest at home.

It was obvious that she was going to take a long break from promoting BABY METAL – which came as a bullet to the heart for the poor girl... but the positive remark gained from the situation is the fact that she was going to make a steady recovery no matter how long it takes.

"Hey Moa," Yui called out to her best friend. "Thank you so much."

Moa looked up, passing the girl a bright smile. "Don't even think about it, Yui." she ordered as she knew quite well that she had nothing to thank her for and it was all done by her own will. "I told you I wasn't going to let you stay alone in that hospital, was I?"

The elder girl shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. It's more of the fact you actually did stay with me instead of resting from the concerts... or visiting your friends."

"Yui – you do know you're more important than them combined." she remarked.

"I know it's just-"

Moa placed her left hand on her shoulder, looking into her eyes with a look of confidence. "Stop worrying. I will be down to see you as much as I can."

Yui was always the person to worry about everything from head to toe. It was one of her traits, which she wished that she could get over no matter what. Moa was able to read her like an open book, and when she came to notice the thoughts that were going through the girls mind at that time was kind of worrying in the way that she shouldn't have to stress over such a silly thing right above all the stress from the illness that she was receiving initially. "You just didn't have to spend all your time on me... I'm not that important."

This girl...

"You need to stop worrying!" Moa raised her voice unintentionally, trying to shake some sense into her head which would hopefully change her perspective. "You're my best friend, and I couldn't be as happier to spend that time with you. Especially if it stops you from being alone."

The younger girl moved her arm from the latter's shoulder, sliding it down to intertwine her hands with them slender fingers that Yui is known for having. "Do you still think that I'd ever leave you?"

Yui shrugged her shoulders – feeling Moa tighten the grip on their intertwined fingers. "I just have a feeling that... no it doesn't matter."

"I'm sure that nothing could ruin our friendship." she clarified, causing Moa's face to brighten up with that beautiful smile of hers.

Moa at times was easily led. If something negative came into her life and was overlapped by positive remarks, she'd instantly forget about the negative thoughts that were creeping on her mind. Like on that very moment – she just kept her mind towards the confirmation of her best friend, and not the worries that she was keeping on the inside.

Yet – could there be anything that could possibly ruin their lifelong friendship...?

It had been eight years at that point. Eight years since they both learned the 'Over The Future' choreography off by heart during their audition period for Sakura Gakuin. Eight years since Moa found out that Yui was a gigantic fan of the Karen Girls which created this inner spirit of determination to fly out of her small soul as they learned them dance moved like their life depended on it. Eight years of stupid petty arguments which led them to being as close as ever, and not to forget eight years of creating everlasting memories that they could never replace with anybody else. These girls had a certain connection with themselves – and no matter who else they meet in life,
