Unsettled

Two weeks and 14 days later...the return to Gravity Falls.

Dipper Pines' P.O.V

I had tried to call Grunkle Stan to reach his brother, but no such luck. There was only a dial tone, and I had no way to send a voicemail. Which is weird, in my opinion.

Mabel apologized about the fight and offered me an awkward sibling hug, which I gladly accepted...because it's always hard to resist hugs from your best friend. It had been a bit icy and rocky around each other ever since, but the walls are starting to be demolished now. At least the nightmares stopped, and strangely left me with an eerie sense of distrust and mischief.

I was zoning out on my thoughts when the bus driver hollered: "Gravity Falls! Final stop!"

I jumped out of the bus I had been riding in for the last eight-to-ten hours, and Mabel followed. Glancing up at the good ol' Mystery Shack, I realized that it had been repaired after what it went through last time we were here. Obviously, the letter S in 'Shack' somewhat managed to fall off again, which gave me a small feeling of nostalgia.

"Come on!" Mabel squealed, dragging her disobeying suitcase with her. Chuckling a little, I followed hot on her trail. I knocked on the door to the gift shop and I heard some annoyed grumbling from inside. It was Stan who opened the door, which he had on a blank stare and a slack jaw. He blinked a couple of times, and then opened his arms to greet us.

"Kids!" He smiled, "you're back!"

Suddenly, Waddles scrambled to Stan's feet and Mabel screeched with joy. "Waddles!" He had gotten slightly bigger, and visibly older. It seems he's beaten the average lifespan of a pig.

"Sure," Stan complained, "the pig gets all the attention."

Bill Cipher's P.O.V

Well, well, well. Seems to me that Pine Tree managed to get my letter, and he's back in Gravity Falls. Apparently, I had gained about a quarter of my powers back so that means I can only go to the Mindscape. A bit disappointing, but hey! Time is time.

I still have my human form, and it's quite obvious that my equilateral side will not recover for another few eons - or even some millenniums. Or maybe...never. Never is the same as infinite. Infinite is the same as never.
