Keefe has been crushing on Sophie since Freshman year. When Christmas time rolls around, Keefe wants to get the perfect gift for her.

Keefe's POV
Christmas.
One of the most special holidays in America.
Also the Holiday that was conveniently around the corner.
At school our english teacher made us do Secret Santa -a game where you pull a name out of a hat and give a present to that person.
Fate must have been on my side at the time because I got Sophie Foster.
Sophie Foster wasn't just the most prettiest girl in school, she was also smart, caring, and one of my best friends.
I spend most of the night thinking about what to get her.
Next Day
This morning during Study Hall I really didn't feel like doing my math homework so I wrote a list of gift possibilities. The bell rang for second period so I scribbled down my last thought and left.

Second Period: Art Class
Art.
The one class I actually enjoy. And of course I'm awesome at it.
Ms.Gavin (the art instructor) told us we had to paint the last thing we ate. Here's what I painted:

Then Sophie looked over to my painting. "Wow you can paint really good. I do anything to have one." That's when it hit me, I'm going to give her a painting.
