"Alright ladies, we're almost done, we just need to put on our masks," Peach said, clapping her hands together. Peach's dress was two parts, a V-neck lace top with a long pink lace skirt. Whenever she walked, her bellybutton was slightly revealed. They nodded and grabbed each of their masks quickly.

Lucina had a butterfly shaped mask, very similar to her normal mask except it revealed her eyes. Palutena had a red lace mask with a rose on the right side. Samus' mask was gold metal mask that slightly covered her forehead. Zelda had a black laser cut filigree crown mask with diamonds lining where her cheeck bones were. Peach had a simple white lace mask with pink hearts designed on it. They carefully tied them underneath their hair, careful not to mess it up.

They walked out of the bathroom, giving each other one last check up to make sure everything looked good and nothing was loose. Peach insisted they took a picture, but promised she wouldn't post it on social media until the boys found them. Zelda looked outside the window and saw people lining up in the entrance.

"People are here," she said.

"I say we be fashionably late," Peach smirked.

"That's because you want all the attention on you, Peach, so no way," Samus said.

"They let people in in ten minutes, I say we wait until the halls get a little crowded so we sorta kinda blend in," Palutena suggested.

"That's actually a good plan, let's do it!" Lucina grinned.

"Ya know, I wonder how the guys are doing?" Samus asked to no one in particular.

"Arguing I bet," Zelda said.

"I wouldn't be surprised if they were about to kill each other," Peach said.

***

"So you don't wear eyeliner?"

"No, Ike, I don't wear eyeliner. I don't know why everyone says that, my eyes are just that way!"

"Okay... and you don't wear mascara?"

"IKE I DO NOT WEAR MAKE UP, IT'S NOT MY FAULT I WAS BORN LIKE THIS OKAY?!"

"... alright."

"Thank you, now help me put my mask on."

"Martha! Help!"

"Roy I swear to god-"

"Yeah yeah, you'll kill me if I call you that again, I get it, but could you tie my tie?"

"Oh, sure."

"Robin stop reading and help!"

"Hold on, Shulk. This is the good part- HEY GIVE IT BACK!"

"I'll give it back after the dance now help me!"

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE SHUT UP!" Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to the angel. Pit sighed and cleared his throat. "The ball is starting in ten minutes, We're all... mostly dressed so let's hurry along."

"Wow, I actually feel kind of pumped," Link said. "And god dammit Ike it's way too tight!" He slightly rugged on of the mask and put it on again. It was a half face eye mask that covered part of his left eyelid. It half of it was white while the other half was green.

"Maybe you shouldn't have bought a half face mask!"

"Ike you're wearing a half face mask!"

"Mine's cooler than yours," Ike scoffed. Shape like Link's, his mask was blue with yellow designs.

"Could you two shut up, we need to go, five minutes till the party starts," Marth glared. He wore a typical masquerade mask, it was blue with a fake blue rose on the side.

"Okay, but shouldn't you take off your tiara first?" Roy asked. He had a red metal mask with gold lines. He also wasn't wearing his head band, Ike wasn't wearing a rope around his head, Link wasn't wearing a hat, and Pit wasn't wearing his "crown."

"Oh yeah good idea- wait this is not a tiara!" Marth yelled and placed it down on a counter. Roy shrugged and snickered.

"How convenient that our ties/bow ties are our favorite colors," Shulk randomly said, tugging on his bow tie a little. He had a black laser cut mask with hints of wine red.

"Okay? Well  should we go?" Robin asked. His mask purple with black lines.

"No, the mask descriptions aren't done," Pit said. He wore a white laser cut mask that looked like two wings with a small fake sunflower on the right "wing."

"Okay, well it's done now so let's go," Robin said, still pissed about Shulk taking his book.

"I'll give you the book after the ball, plus I'm sure you'll forget all about it when you see Lucina," Shulk smirked, nudging him with his shoulder.

"S-shut up," Robin mumbled, his face completely flush.

"I bet they'll look so hot," Roy smirked.

"Stop yourself."

"Sorry."

"Alright, alright, let's just go, I think they're starting to let people in," Robin said.

"Oh no we gotta run then let's go!" They stormed out of Marth's room and down the stairs to grand ballroom, leading to a night they wouldn't soon forget.

A/N: Wow, what an ending. Creative I know. Now let's get to the real cheesy stuff.
