Welcome Back, obviously my last story wasn't scary enough for you. Lets see, maybe this one will do. The story of stolen children, are you prepared? Do you have what it takes to sit through another one of my stories?! I'm glad.

The Witching Hour

Everyday at exactly 3am its believed our world collides with another creating a mystery portal not visible to the human eye, unfortunately, what lurks at the other side of the portal isn't human. Nobody knows who or what the creature is. All that is known is that the creature has a hunger for children's flesh. At 3am everyday the creature ventures over to our world searching for the flesh of a child, fortunately, the creature is never strong enough to drag a child through the portal so instead it messes with things around the house, making televisions flash and music play. For the twelve minutes that the portal is open the creature amuses itself by terrifying the poor young ones. As the portal closes the creature goes home waiting for the day they're able to feast.

Only one day a year is the creature strong enough to take someone. Halloween. Every Halloween 4 children go missing to the invisible creature. Only that day is the portal open for longer. How much longer you ask? The whole day. The creature has the whole day to pick 4 children to take with them home. At the end of the creatures yearly peek they drag the four unwilling children through the portal for feasting. Sometimes the creature changes forms to take the children or sometimes it takes them kicking and screaming. 

Is there a way of getting the children back I hear you ask. No. Although there is a way of setting the child's soul free but you only have 1 year to do so. If you do not succeed by the following Halloween then the child's soul shall be trapped forever never knowing if they were going to be saved. Nobody has ever been successful in freeing the souls of the innocent but some speculate that the portal can be visible on Halloween but nobody has yet to find it, some say it changes location, others say you can only see the portal if you have witnessed a murder at the hands of another, some also say someone else has to take the souls place only to be brutally eaten.
