The call of the Wild awakened you as the Night beckoned for it's children to come out and live. The cool breeze brushed against your fur as you breathed in, the scent of freedom making you feel euphoric. The rundown cabin in which you lived in smelled so safe you felt secure but the Night has come and the Wild is never safe. You rose from your bed that was made up of tattered sheets and shredded pillows but it was enough for your canine form and you were satisfied.

You licked your chops as you noticed your hunger, padding along the hallway as your claws clicked against the old mahogany wood. You squeezed through the hidden hole of the cabin, stretching as you readied your muscles for a night filled with running, fighting and the feeling of freedom and the Wild.

You are ___, a wolf who knew nothing else but the Wild. In this forest that you thrived in, you fought bravely against the competitors, you have no pack but you didn't mind. You knew that when the Cold comes food will be hard to find in the white and freezing abyss. You never knew what it was like to depend on someone, never knew a mother nor father, all you knew was that you were born to hunt, to kill. To s u r v i v e. Just like every other creature in this vast Unknown.

You don't know where you got your name, all you remember was a voice calling it out, you never knew who or what it was, you never figured out the scent, what you do know was that they were like you yet not, like a creature but smelled of something more but they did not smell like a God.

Yes, you were a mere wolf but you were also a God. The ones that gave judgement to all the living, what their purpose was and the bringers of law. They were creatures that used two legs, creators of the bright light that was so beautiful and mystic yet gave you a seething hurt.

You could become a God but you chose not to because you were never a God. Whenever you called for Change you never truly became a God, Gods have this instinct to create, you do not. You do not know how to create what they call fire nor do you know how to make use of the rocks and the nonliving around you.

What you may have in common is Curiosity, you have this urge to know what this thing is but you do not want to know why it does it, you were a mere wolf. Not a God.

You were an animal. A beast that has this instinct to hunt for survival. And that's all you'll ever be because it's who you want to be. It was ingrained into your mind for as long as you could remember, more so because you did not like the Gods that tried to think you would rather be chained and well fed than want freedom.

You hated the hands of the Gods more than the brethren that tried to take your food for their pack, they only bring hurt, you were not like the other wolves nor the wolves yet not. You were a Wolf God, you liked to think. Why else would you have been given the option to roam the Unknown on two or four feet?

But you chose the Wild, you chose the wolf because you hated the Gods, they liked to think they were above all and were untouchableand yet here they are, in the flesh with everyone else, in the Unknown and when you bit down on one of the Gods that tried to bring hurt they bled. They were hurt and cried in pain. They were no Gods but then you wondered, is it because you were a God as well that you were able to bring hurt?

So you hated Gods for what they were, they created yes, but they brought hurt to others and would cut away the freedom of many animals.

You were a Wolf God. You didn't like the other Gods, you preferred to be free so you did what you could, you would beckon the wolves that were tied in camps and set them free. They wanted to be in your so called pack but you declined every offer, you did not want to be a God who cut away their freedom of option.

This is who you wanted to be, nothing can change that unless you wanted otherwise. So here you are now, enjoying the cold night, just wanting to be f r e e. And you were free. You could hear your brethren sing out to the Moon, the one that shines down onto the Unknown to light up the path to Life or Death.

You were alive as you ran far and wide, you were barely tired, you had the body of a killer, a body that was meant to hunt to be alive, you needed to be strong to survive and live free another day. You were a predator, a beast that eats others for the sake of survival, if any prey die tonight by your teeth you did not regret it. This is the Wild and like the Unknown, it is mysterious and anything can happen, it is just the way of Life.

When it comes to the Wild, you need to be strong to live free, this is the price of freedom but you will gladly pay it, you never depended on somebody and most likely never will, you liked to be the one who made your choices.

You are ___, you are free and that's who you wanted to be.
