it's been a week' since I was grounded I haven't talked to anyone just stayed home and clean watched TV and read.
"Re-runs again?"dad asked as he sat down next to me I scoffed "maybe if you let me go somewhere instead of being cooped up all the time maybe I'd wouldn't be watching reruns again" I said he didn't say anything then got up pull out his wrist watch put on me and set a time
"Be home at 5:30" he said I looked at him surprised "go before I change my mind" he said I farted up slipped on my shoes and ran out the door
It was about 3:30 I was at the park eating a hotdog I bought just thinking when a cute girl came up and sat with me
"I'm Melinda" she said I smiled
"Max" I said
"Nice to meet you Max what are you doing out here all by yourself?" She asked
"Oh I've been grounded and my dad let me out for a bit" I said she nodded and wrote something else down on my napkin
"Call me when your ungrounded" she winked and walked away I smirked and looked at her..oh she was definitely gonna be the first person I talk to when I'm ungrounded
