Chapter #7 : Birthday princess♥️

~A few days pass by and it's now your birthday~
Your p.o.v
You wake up in the best mood, it's your birthday. you get up and get dressed in the dress above. You do your hair and makeup and go to the kitchen. your phones been acting up the entire morning while you've been trying to call your mom. you go to elliot's apartment and knock on the door. He opens the door still sleepy.
Y/N-"Sorry baby, did i wake you?"
E-"No it's okay babe." he opens the door more and let's you in.
Y/N-"Babe can i use your phone. mines been acting up all day" you give him your phone.
E-"of course it's acting up. didn't you drop it in the shower, and it's all cracked. why don't you buy a new one"
Y/N-"because it's just a phone, so can i use your phone?"
E-"It's on my table over there"
Y/N-"yesss, thank you thank you thank you" you kiss his cheek a million times. You grab his phone and dial your moms number.
*convo*
Elliot's P.O.V
I sit on my couch while i watch Y/N excitedly walk around the room dialing a number. the number answers the call and i eavesdrop the convo.
Y/N-"Hi mama , it's me" I see her with the biggest smile imaginable. i smile looking at her so happy.
M-"hello my beautiful birthday princess. are you having a good day" i hear her mom say.
Y/N-"Yes mama im having a wonderful day so far. i wanted to ask you if you were free today, i wanted to take you out to dinner with me and elliot "
M-"Of course i'm free sweetheart, when should i be ready."
Y/N-"uhh gimme a second mama." she turns to look at me.

E-"Tell her 3:30" i smile at her.
Y/N-"3:30 mommy"
M-"Okay bebe, have fun, i'll see you then. i love you princess"
Y/N-"I love you too mama, i'll see you then" She smiles big and she hangs up the phone and gives it back to me. She looks so happy and so beautiful in her outfit.
E-"you look beautiful, happy birthday baby" she sits on my lap smiling and wraps her arms around my neck.
Y/N-"Thank you babe, i'm so excited for today. i get to spend it with you and my mom"
E-"You never really talk about your parents, tell me about them"
Y/N-"I mean my dad left when i was about 10. But my mom.. she's incredible, she raised me and she taught me everything i know. we never really had a lot of money. but she'd always used what she had to buy me stuff. i saved up all the money i could find to buy her this little bracelet that she still wears, she's just amazing. now that i'm doing better in life i'm saving up to buy her a new house, new clothes, and everything she ever wanted" She smiles day dreaming while she talks.
E-"No wonder you came out just as amazing" i peck her lips.
E-"lemme go shower and get dressed" she nods and gets off of me. i go to shower and get dressed. we killed some time by watching movies and just messing around. finally, 3:00 turns around and Y/N gets more excited by the second.
E-"Lets go pick up your mom" she nods and starts walking downstairs to the car with me. we get in the car and she insists on driving since she knows where the house is obviously. we finally get to her moms house, she parks the car and goes to the front door.She knocks on the door.
Y/N-"Mom i'm hereee" she smiles. Her mom opens the door and Y/N hurries in to hug her.
M-"Bebe you look so beautiful" they pull away from the hug and Y/N locks her arm in mines and leans on my shoulder.
Y/N-"Mom this is my boyfriend Elliot."
E-"That's me" i smile and take out my hand for her to shake. she shakes her head and goes in for a hug. i hug her.
M-"You're a very good looking young man" she smiles.
Y/N-"Let's go mom, we're gonna be late."
E-"i'm driving now baby, it's your birthday, you shouldn't have to."
Y/N-"Thank you babe" she smiles and kisses your cheek. She locks arms with her mom as they walk to the car. you open the door for both of them and start driving to the restaurant. You drop them off and go up to Y/N.
E-"Baby i need to go get something really quick, you and your mom stay here. the reservation is under the name watkins." She nods and you kiss her cheek, you get back in the car and wait until they're safe inside so you can leave. you go the mall and go to the jewelry store and get the ladybug necklace for Y/N. You also get this ring for her. Then you go to the apple store and get her a new iphone x

You drive back to the restaurant and enter and see Y/N smiling and laughing with her mom. looking so happy. you go to sit down with them.
E-"I'm back" you smile.
M-"how did you to meet?"
Y/N-"You wanna tell her or do i?"
E-"You tell her your part and i'll tell her mine"
Y/N-Okay, so basically i was recently talking to this over guy and we were gonna go on a date in this very restaurant, but he stood me up, i was very devastated but saw elliot looking at me smiling every now and then. i go outside while it starts to rain anddddd-"
E-"and I go after her and cover her with my jacket so she won't get sick. after that i took her bowling to get her mind off things and then i took her to the park to get to know her and basically things took off from there" you smile and hold her hand.
M-"That's very sweet. thank you for taking care of my daughter elliot" her mom smiles.
E-"I wouldn't have it any over way, you two order go ahead. anything you want, i'll pay for it." you look over and see Y/N raise her eyebrow at you.
Y/N-"He means we'll pay for it"
E-"I mean i'll pay for it, it's your birthday, let me pay for everything, today is all about you." she sighs and smiles.
Y/N-"fine" For the rest of the night we eat and talk and laugh. it becomes later at night and you take her mom home and take Y/N to the park where they watched their first movie together. you hold her hand as you all walk around on the park.
You pull out the necklace while she isn't looking and get behind her.
E-"Baby stop walking for a second and close your eyes " she stops moving and i move her hair from her neck and put on the necklace for her.

Your P.O.V
i feel something metal touch my chest.
E-"Open your eyes" You look down and see a necklace of a lady bug with your name on it. You start to tear up and you turn around at him.
Y/N-"Elliot."
E-"Happy birthday princess" he kisses your forehead.
Y/N-"i don't know what to say. Thank you" You hug him tight smiling.
E-"Youre welcome baby" You walk around the park a bit more then decide to finally go home. you change into some of elliot's clothes and go to sit on his lap on the couch. He takes out something out of his pocket, a purple velvet box and looks at you smiling big. He opens the box and you see a ring and you start to tear up.
E-"I promise, for as long as we are on this earth, to love you with every beat of my heart, and to prove that to you, i give you this promise ring." You cover your mouth and feel a tear stream down your face.
Y/N-"Elliot, i-" he grabs your hand and puts the ring on your finger.
Y/N-"Thank you for making this the best birthday possible. I love you very much, Elliot watkins."
E-"I love you too Y/N + Y/L/N." he kisses you then slips out another box and opens it for you. A new phone."
Y/N-"baby you've spoiled me enough"
E-"Come on. it's another one of your birthday gifts, take it"
Y/N-"But baby-" he kisses you.
E-"take it baby, it's yours" he smiles. you take the phone. you get up and lay across his lap. he plays with your hair and you and him fall asleep.
