What Should I Write?
My first advice would be to think about your interests.
Are you interested in Sweden during the mid-nineties? Are you interested in Westward Expansion in the United States? Are you interested in folklore and mythology? Are you interested in what sort of future the world might face?
What's your favorite genre? What's your your favorite sub-genres? Or are you completely lost with genre?
Read. Read as much as you can. Reading will make you a better writer.
Learn. Try to find the answers to your deepest questions about the universe. Learn about whatever you want to learn about.
Listen to music, learn a new craft, try something new.
These can all help you figure out what to write.
