Since I was young my older brother was always there for me. He protected me and took care of me without the help of our parents. Every time I mentioned about our parents he would always say they were good people and that I would be able to meet them someday, but he would never answer me to why they left us. Every day it was just me and him though some days he had to train, being a hero and all. We lived a happy life together until it was suddenly gone in the blink of an eye.

I was only 5 at the time I witness my brothers body right in front of me. He was in so much pain while I sat there drenched in blood not of my own. He wasn't the only one who I saw in agony, many more before him got hurt when the incident occurred. As a hero, he did his best to save as many as possible but the damage was too much for him to handle alone. Many were crushed or burned from the chaos and in my head I thought I too was going to suffer that same fate. All in one night many innocent lives suffered including my brother, the only family I knew of, the only person who knew who I was. I was lost and sat there surrounded by flames, but not a single flare burned me. Was it because of my Quirk or was there more to it. I looked to my brother who was laying in front of me, not moving a single muscle. I wasn't crying or scared, but I quivered and reached out to him.

"Oniichan? A-are you ok? Why is there so much fire? Why are you laying down? D-did you get hurt? Is that why you're bleeding? Ne, Oniichan s-say something?"

"G-gomen'nasai... I-I can't move, but you need to save yourself. Your mom and dad would kill me if I made you stay with me like this haha... What kind of hero am I if I can't get out of a mess like this."

"B-but they'd be sad if you-"

"Gomen'nasai... I'm not your brother, just a friend of your parents."

I remember hearing him say that while the flames around us seemed to burn even brighter and spread throughout the building. There were flames around us, even outside buildings and streets were in ruins.

"You're special, that's why you need to survive. You were destined to save others like all those hero's you admired including me. I know this is a lot of pressure for a little girl, but I might not get the chance to say this to you ever again. So you have to-"

"If you say I was destined to save others than that means I can save you!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I felt my body burn

I was suddenly engulfed with blue flames and felt a tremendous power within me. My hair turned platinum and I grew a few fox like features such as ears and nine furry white tails. The flames didn't hurt at all and without another thought, I went to his side and removed him from the pile of debris by shooting up ice from the ground, lifting the debris and flew out the window. This power was new to me and took a toll on my body. I did everything I could to save him without a second thought not caring about my current condition, but soon after we escaped the last thing I remember was him holding me in shock and a huge blond figure in front of us saying these words as my vision darkened and the burning sensation spread through my body.

"You've done well Kamihara, thank you."

"Don't thank me... even with my Quirk I still managed to get trapped, but she saved me."

"You haven't completely mastered your powers yet, but someday you will. It takes time to master your Quirk and I know you'll become a great hero as well. I'll take care of things here so go... see you again Celestia..."

Those were the last words I heard before I had completely become unconscious.

2 Weeks Later

When I opened my eyes I was in the hospital. As I looked around I saw my brother next to me asleep, but soon remembered he wasn't actually my brother. He soon woke up and his eyes widened at the sight of me finally awake.

"You're finally up, it's been two weeks since you've been here, but everything is ok now-"

"Even if you're not my real Oniichan... I don't care. You're still my Oniichan no matter what..."

I felt tears swell up as a few escaping while I sniffled looking at the white sheets in front if me

"Of course I will, no matter what."

He embraced me in a hug and comforted me as I returned his embrace.

"Ano, Oniichan... Who is Celestia?"

He released me and looked me in the eyes with a shocked expression. Soon after he looked out the window and took a deep breath in.

"It's your real name, Celestia. Mae Kamihara was just a cover-up they gave you in order for you to live a normal life. You need to understand your parents didn't give you up, they did this to protect you-"

"If they did this to protect me... then I understand... at least they had a great oniichanto watch over me."

"Mae..."

Just as before, he embraced me and I no longer felt completely lost. At the very least, I was happy to know my parents are out there and that someday... I'll finally be able to be with them. From that day on I was going to strive and do my very best to make them proud. I'll become someone who can protect... No, someone who will protect no matter what.

10 Years Later

Today was the day of the exam to get into U.A. High School, even though I was already recommended and took the test for that I still wanted to take the regular exam. In all honesty, Shinya-nii had sent it long before, but I got in touch with the school and asked if I could take the regular exam as well. If I wanted to become the greatest hero, I had to get in with my own abilities to see if I really had gotten strong since that day, but I guess with me taking the exam and having the recommendation already it's a win-win situation.

"I feel like cheating in a way with the recommendation." *sigh*

"Hehehe... sorry about that, but no matter what it's about how strong you train when you do begin school. So good luck today, show them what you got! Maybe your mom will see how much you've grown."

"Hai! Arigato Shinya-nii! I'll see you when I get back, stay safe today!"

I then ran out the door towards the school as my brother, Edge shot, went off to work.

"I can't wait!"
