screaming roars in my ears as i trash around

memories occupy my head, all equipped with sound

i'm at the house again, fear in my eye

as i watch everyone i've ever loved die

the fire crackles and swallows and spits

as wood beams break and fall on the kids

at last it goes out and i let out a wail

the black cat strolls along, wagging its tail.
