The Princess of Oldvale

"As your new princess, I vow to do whatever it takes to make sure the prince of Venicia pays for what he did to our King and Queen!"
*Civilians Applause*
"I vow to do things my parents refused to do, I vow to conduct business with other countries and much more. I will always keep your best interest at heart, thank you!"
*Civilians Applause*

*Akira's Room*
I can't believe I just gave my first speech as princess!

-Knock, Knock-
"Princess Akira?"

"You may enter."

"Princess, you have received a letter from the King of Brightwood."

"Xavier, you do know you don't have to call me princess right?"

Xavier is my best friend we practically grew up together, his family has been my family's kitchen staff since before I was born. Which means he was practically born into his position, but I promoted his family to be on my royal council to help guide me in my decisions, meaning they now also live in the castle and are treated with the same respect I am.

"Yeah Akira I know, it's just that I'm accustomed to having to address you by your title. This is quite a drastic change ya know?"

"Xavier, you know I wasn't going to let your family be my kitchen staff any longer you guys deserve better than that."

"Thanks Akira, well here is your letter, once you are finished reading it meet us in the council chambers."

"Give me 10 minutes thank you Xavier."

"10 minutes you got it Akira!"

-King of Brightwood's Letter-
Akira,

I understand that you are now the Princess of Oldvale, and I would like to be the first to congratulate you. I've been trying to merge our two kingdoms since before you were born, I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your parents, but I was hoping you would want to merge kingdoms by marrying my son Zed. Please think about the offer and what it would bring to your kingdom.
