author's note: This is only a writing exercise for me, but if you must, you may leave a comment on how I can improve my writing.... Actually, comments on how bad this story is are also welcome :) No worries, I really wanted to puke too while writing this nightmare.

"Sakura-san!" a girl I have never seen yelled out.

I turned around, letting my long pink hair flutter in the wind. By nodding, I acknowledged the girl that called out to me. I wonder why she called out to me? We've never talked before... Oh! Could she possibly want to be friends? Considering she could be my next best friend, I mustered the most beautiful smile possible. The kind of smile that would melt the hearts of any sympathetic human being alive.

My new friend stomped towards me. Behind her were 5 other girls.

Wow! She must be extremely excited to be friends! She even brought other people to expand our friend group! My happy thoughts made my smile even brighter. No longer would I have to eat lunch alone or with guys only. It's not that the male students were horrible people, but I have always wanted girl friends too. The guys were really nice. They must have felt sorry for me and always ate lunch with me. Yet, in their efforts to console me, they always sat a bit too close for comfort and embraced me for too long.

"Stay away from Leon-sama, you bitch!"

Huh? Bitch? Who, me? I felt confused. This wasn't how friends usually addressed each other right? Or did I read too much manga about friendship? I imagined more of a "Hello! My name is blank, and I want to be your friend!" type of introduction.

My smiling face faltered, "Excuse me, but who is this Leon-sama?" For the first time, I properly looked into her face. Her heavily drawn eyebrows were furrowed together while her eyes glared at me.... Or at least I think she was. Even though she was wearing double eyelid tape and fake eyelashes, her eyes were still reduced to two fine lines.

When she heard my question, she seemed startled and took a step back. However, her slight pause remained only for a second before she marched more furiously than ever towards me.

"Leon-sama is my boyfriend!" She screeched, "My boyfriend that you bewitched with your fake pink hair and your equally fake smile!"

Did she just insult my pink hair? My lustrous hair wasn't fake, it was natural. I was born this way, and I hated it. Even though my hair sparkled gently in the sun, I despised how unnatural it looked. One day I decided to take things into my own hands and dyed my hair brown. It lasted only for 5 minutes before returning to a soft pastel pink. God, I hate my stupidly graceful hair so much.

While I was thinking about my horrible hair, the angry girl walked up to my face. She kept on insulting me, telling me to never approach Leon-sama again. Since she was uncomfortably close, I kept on stepping backwards. Before I knew it, to my back was a stair case leading down to the lunch area.

"Hoe!" the girl insulted me one last time before pushing me off the stairs.

The sky was blue, the clouds were wispy, and sakura petals twirled in the air.

"Sakura-san!" another voice cried out.

In a flash, a girl that I have never talked to embraced me. Tears welled up in her wide eyes. Such beautiful dark eyes...  I sincerely wished we had talked to each other before this tragic moment.

Ah... We're going to die together... At least we'll have each other for this moment...

Everything blacked out.
