Hey, everyone. Today, I'll be talking about Imaginary Gifts. This will include, what they are, how they work,their function, and their ins and outs.

1) What is an Imaginary Gift?
Imaginary Gifts are special powers certain Grade 3s possess. There are, at the time of writing, three types; Force, Accel, and Protect, and are represented by a corresponding Gift Marker. Each clan possess an allocated Imaginary Gift, and (as of now) no clan may have more than one type of Imaginary Gift.

2) How does an Imaginary Gift work?
Gift Markers are kept in the Gift Marker Area (replacing the G Zone from the previous format). When a Grade 3 with the Imaginary Gift icon is placed on the Vanguard Circle, the Imaginary Gift activates. At this time, the player takes a Gift Marker from the Gift Marker Area and applies it, depending on the type of Gift it is;

• If it is Force, place the Force Gift Marker on one of the Vanguard or Rear-guard Circle of your choice.

• If it is Accel, place the Accel Gift Marker somewhere on the field (where it does not interfere with any other zones or spaces).

• If it is Protect, place the Protect Gift Marker among your hand cards.

If a Gift Marker is removed from the hand or field, it returns to the Gift Marker Area.

3) Imaginary Gift: Force

Force is a Balanced Imaginary Gift. A unit on the circle on which the Force Gift Marker is active receives an additional 10000 power during the owner's turn. Multiple Force Gift Markers can be placed on the same circle, so If there are two on one circle, the unit on the circle will gain 20000 power.
Unless stated otherwise by an effect, Force Gift Markers remain permanently, and will not be removed if a unit on the same circle is retired. They cannot be moved to a different circle.

2) Imaginary Gift: Accel

Accel is an Offensive Imaginary Gift

Accel is an Offensive Imaginary Gift. An Accel Gift Marker acts as an additional front row Rear-guard Circle. A Rear-guard on this circle gains 10000 power during the owner's turn. A Rear-guard on this circle cannot be moved or boosted by another Rear-guard. There is no limit to the number of 'Accel Circles' that can exist at one time.

3) Imaginary Gift: Protect

Protect is a defensive Imaginary Gift. A Protect Gift Marker is for utility. It's primary use is as a Perfect Guard, and does not count towards the maximum number of Sentinels you may have in your deck. It can also be used to pay cost, is included in hard-counting abilities, and can be used as fodder against skills such as Shiranui Rinne and Chaos Breaker Deluge. And in Angel Feather, Protect can even be used to heal damage. This is because through effects that let you trade cards in your hand with cards in your Damage Zone, by placing the Protect Marker into the Damage Zone, it disappears, leaving the user with one less damage.
It can bypass Grade Specific Guard Block, but not Sentinel Block.
