Natalie suddenly woke up with a migraine. Since this happens almost everyday, she's gotten used to it and took some Advil. She knew that it wasn't going to do much but the thought of it actually helping her and ending the awful headaches was a little comforting. She grabbed her glasses and went to the kitchen to have breakfast. When she got there, Jordyn had already made her breakfast and tea.

"Good morning! How's your head?"
"It still hurts but it's getting better." Natalie lied. Her headaches weren't getting better. She only said that so that Jordyn would stop treating it like it's such a big deal. It happens all the time, and she's grown used to it by now.

"So, what should we do today?" Asked Jordyn.
"Dont you have work?"
"I was kidding. Im not a vet. I'm still in school. My last semester."
"Then don't you have school?"
"No. I get back to school next week. That means we have a whole week to hang! Unless you have work. Wait, what do you do for work?"
"Oh. I'm a freelance animator. It basically means that people come to me for animations and they will pay me money for doing Said animations. I'm still starting out but I also work part time at a restaurant. You know, how most people start out."
"Then that means we can do whatever we want right now! We could go to the beach, or we could go get coffee, there's endless possibilities!"
"But don't forget that we don't have endless money! Let's just watch something on Netflix together. That way, we don't spend money outside, and we can just chill inside and drink tea or something."
"Alright, what do you want to watch?"
"Um what abou-" Natalie was jnturupted by a knock at the door.

I wonder who it could be? Of course, it just had to be-
"Hey." Said Mathew as Natalie opened the door. "Wanna hang out today?"
"Um- I- I'm sorry I kind of- um- have plans. I wanted to- um- hang with my best friend today."
"Oh I'm sorry to interupt. I'll just leave."
"Wait! No! Don't leave! She doesn't have plans! She can totally hang with you today!" Yelled Jordyn from across the room.
"Are you sure you don't want me to STAY?" Natalie shot a look at Jordyn as if to say 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOT! HELP ME!' But Jordyn ignored it and smirked at the two of them. Like she knew what had happened the day before.

"I guess I'm free now." Natalie said with a nervous chuckle.
"Great! Let's go to the coffee shop on Dubit Drive. I heard it has fairy lights. Have you heard of it?"
"I guess you could say I have."
"Let's use this as an opportunity to get to know each other better."
"Okay. But first, I have to change. I'll be right back!"

As Natalie walked into the room Jordyn started pressing her for answers.
"What happened?!"
"Is it a date?!"
"Where are you going?!"
"Oooooo Natalie has a boooooyfiend!"

"Shut up...." Said Natalie "I have to change."
"Yeah. Cause your going on a date!"
Natalie walked off to her room to change. She walked out with a black skirt, and a black and white stripped top with a black necklace and black converse. She had her hair in a high ponytail. As she walked out, she heard Jordyn yell "ooooooo Natalie has a boyfriend!" And she secretly hoped Mathew didn't hear her.

She walked outside to see that Mathew was waiting outside patiently. She was kind of embarrassed to have taken so long.

"Sorry I took so long." She said
"It's fine, you look great."
"Thanks" She said, her face feeling hot again.

They both walked to Matthew's car. When they arrived, Mathew had insisted on opening the door for her. They both got in the car. For the most part, it was a silent ride. Natalie felt really awkward. She has never been in a car with someone she li- she didn't know that well.

When they got to the cafe, they both sat down at a table outside. The cafe was covered in beautiful fairy lights. Natalie didn't really stay in the cafe long enough to actually observe her surroundings. The cafe was very pleasant to look at. There were candles lit on every table, each with its own unique scent. She was so distracted by how good looking the cafe was, that she completely forgot about Mathew.

"Hello? Earth to Natalie."
"Umm- what- sorry. I was distracted by this beautiful cafe."
"I was distracted by the beautiful lady sitting in front of me." Mathew mumbled under his breath.
"What was that you said?"
"Oh nothing. So, let's start getting to know each other."
"Shouldn't we order coffee or something? I mean it is a cafe."
"Oh, right. What do you want?"
"I'll just have a Decaf, Soy Latte With An Extra Shot And Cream."
"Huh. Not a fan of caffeine eh? Alright. I'll get that right away madame." He said looking at her with a smile that made her heart want to do little somersaults.

As he went to go get them their coffee, Natalie's mind started racing. She couldn't think properly anymore. There was too much going on in her mind.

Headaches, Mathew, friends? Work, Mathew, migraines......

What was she supposed to do?
