My legs are too tired for the fast-pacing men.
My hands are too shaky to hold a pen.
My back is hunched and I can't bend over.
I bet you I'm older than that moon rover.
My kin takes no need to come see me no more.
That's what my old friends are for.
My old wife is diagnosed with cancer.
My great-granddaughter is a little dancer.
My neighbor to the left tends to bring me food.
While the neighbor to the right can be kinda rude.
My pet is a husky that takes kindly to me.
Sometimes we like to sit out by the ole fig tree.
The sun shines in my bedroom window every morning.
To warn me that it's another day of moaning.
What's that in front of me?
Sorry, I can hardly see.
My hair is grey along with my beard.
Now I'm starting to look kinda weird.
Where's my walker, I keep losing that thing.
The seasons are now changing to spring.
My teeth fall out if I blow to hard.
My family brings me seasonal cards.
My kin does see me sometimes.
Although they can be nutty at times.
I love my children a lot.
They've brought me grandchildren and what-not.
It's sad to see them let us go.
Please, don't feel too much sorrow.
The gate to heaven is more beautiful than I have ever imagined.
Everything here is really whitened.
You can keep, Pollo, the dog.
Just don't leave him outside like a hog.
My legs aren't too tired for the fast-pacing men.
My hands are stable to hold a pen.
My back is straight and I can bend over.
I chose to be younger than that moon rover.
I see a lot more of my kin.
Plus my friends who did not sin.
My young wife no longer has cancer.
I see my great-granddaughter dancing, that little prancer.
The man up above is my first priority.
My brothers and sisters, all around, are staying holy.
Heaven is bright and really great.
Not like it was back in sixty-eight.
I watch over you everyday.
Yes, I do hear you pray.
God is finally done with my plan.
For I am no longer, Mr. Old Man.
