One week later Aurelia sat in the Royal Library reading Azure: A History. She was so enraptured in the book that she didn't notice the maid come in with a silver tray bearing a letter from the King and of Aiobhneas. " Your Highness" spoke the maid " A letter has arrived for you, its from his Royal Highness the King of Aiobhneas." 


"What?" Said Aurelia "You're sure it isn't from my father"

"Yes Ma'm" 

"Alright leave it in my chambers I shall read it when I get there." 

"Yes Ma'm" And with that the maid left, leaving a very confused Princess.

Soon the strange events of the morning had been forgotten and replaced by happy thoughts,for the Princess was on a ride with her dearest friend, daughter of the Duke and Dutchess of Petrichor. Her name was Lavinia Belmonte and her family had been friends with the Covinghams  for generations. Unlike her family,Lavinia was not just friends with the Royal family because they were the Royal family, but because she really did enjoy the company of Aurelia.

After the Ride the girls were taken to their rooms and informed that there would be a Ball in the evening celebrating the peace treaty that was being signed that very night in Aiobhneas. 

Now Aurelia had plans to open the letter that she was given earlier in the day, but alas she was whisked away into her dressing room by Ladies in Waiting, for due to her ride she was late to the dinner before the Ball. 

She wore this:

As Aurelia was ushered out of her rooms the mysterious letter sat on her desk forgotten
