I Learn To Drive

Another long day of training done.Rosy walked up to tired as hell.I could tell Maddie trained her because she looked like she had black eyes from lack of sleep.

"What is it?"I asked.

"I don't wanna train with Mommy....."She said.I couldn't blame her.No one would want to train with her.

"How about we go explore the city?"My dad's voice surprised me from behind.I smiled and turned around.Star and Kyle were next to him.My dad used to be in the military,so he was wearing a pair of camo pants.He had a gun strapped to his back.

"We already did way to much."I said.Going back to the city made me want to throw up because of the long walk.

"Well,we are running out of supplies,and your aunt wants us to find targets to train Rosy."He said.I noticed he didn't say Ellen.

"Alright.Let me find Ellen."I said.

"We aren't going to bring Ellen or Rosy.They are going to stay here and train."he said.Rosy let out a sigh."Go on"He said jokingly.Rosy walked out the R.V. with the last water bottle.

I followed my father out the R.V. and we started walking towards the city.Star and Kyle said they would stay at Camp.

About half way to the city,my father started to talk to me.

"What are you teaching Ellen?"he asked.

"I'm teaching her how to survive.Basically we told her how to shoot from a tree and what to do if she has no weapon."I said."Star is going to teach her karate and Kyle is good at running.He also said he wants to teach her how to start a fire and hunt."

"Great.Your aunt is teaching Rosy how to aim and running and basic exercise.She won't give her a break.She's treating her as if she was a test subject."Dad said.I could tell he was also sick of my aunt.We stopped at a car.

"Why did we stop?"I asked.

"Why didn't we?"He said with a joking smile."This thing still probably has gas in it.We can drive it to the clothing store and change your outfit."

"I don't know how to drive!"I said.

"Well,then I'll just have to teach you."He pointed to the door and I got in.He told me out to start the car without a key and then he said to just push the petal lightly and to keep my hands on the wheel.It was surprisingly easy.

"Great,now drive us to Wal-Mart."He said.I started to drive to Wal-Mart with a few bumps in the way,but we still got there.

I walked out of the car and into the store.I saw at least five zombies walking around in the front of the store.My dad walked up to one and kicked it's knees making it fall to the ground.Then,he stabbed it in the back of the head.

"You try."He said.I walked up to a zombie with my knife out and I tried his move.

"Nice."He said.He repeated it on the next.

A zombie walked towards me.I took out his knees and stabbed him in his head.

"I expect you to train Ellen that.I'll teach Star tomorrow,sense it will be her birthday."He said.That would make today June 30th,2014.

"So,that means today's my birthday,and I didn't even get a cake?"I said jokingly.

"Well,that's why I brought you here.So we could have a good time."He said.We walked to the teens clothing isle,killing every dead thing we saw.

"So,what we want is a leather jacket."He said.I scanned for a jacket,quickly finding one.With just my luck it was a couple sizes bigger than my size,so I would grow into it.I put it on over my black hoodie.

"Good."Dad said."Now,I think you might want more pants."

It was true.My blue jeans had holes and tears in them.They wouldn't be to warm for the winter that was soon to come.

I grabbed a few pairs of black pants and I put them in my bag.My shoes felt tight on my feet.

"Looks like you'll need boots also."he said.

We walked down to the shoes isle.I grabbed a pair of black boots that would be easier to run in and still looked nice.

"Look out!"I heard my dad say.As he said that,I felt a pair of dead hands grab me by my neck.
