To say you changed my life would be an understatement. You swooped in like the calm before the storm. It started out with sunny skies and calm waters. Every day we would discover new and exciting parts of our own version of paradise, and it was perfect. A shift in the winds caused the storm and threw everything off. We no longer synced in the way lovers do. All the talk of our future together floated back with the tides, the sand eroded and so did our paradise. My skies turned grey and gloomy. I put up a wall. My skies are slowly clearing, opening a passage for the long lost visitor that you've become. For you, I'll always have up half a wall. Hiding pieces of myself. I can't let anyone have the power to darken my skies again.
