Do you believe in Destiny?

Rita definitely didn't.

Who in their right mind would even contemplate such a  fantacy after spending their whole youth mopping over a failed love?

Rita Reddy had finally got her life back on track. After going though rigourous medical training and graduation she had managed to accomplish her position as head surgeon. Work was rigorous, yet she was content by being able to save people's lives. She had adapted to her routine.

Until a certain somebody walked back into her life destroying all four walls of her mundanecy.

Rita's POV:

"Hanna?"

His eyebrows drew in recognition as he stared down at me. I still can't believe that after all these years he could recognize  me. He knitts his eyebrows together as his frown grows bigger. He closes his eyes and scrunchs his face like he is recalling a bad memory. It breaks me a bit , but I don't let it show on my face.

"You...you really do have some guts showing your face around here." He aggressively states.

My mind immediately comes up with a snarky response.
"Technically I didn't walk in here..."

He cuts me off as he grabs my chin, forcing me to look straight into his eye. There is so much anger and disgust swirling in his eyes than it cannot be comprehend in words.

"I will never forgive you Rita Reddy. Mark my words, I will make your live a living hell. Rest assured." He says it with so much ferocity that if he could, then he would bury me right here.

Tears begin to form but I hold them back. No more am I a damsel in distress who is going  to run back crying. I stare right back it's his eyes as a challenge. I'm not going to give up anymore. This time I'm going to right my wrongs and conquer your heart.
