They walked through the streets of Incandia, hiding their faces under their saphire blue cloacks and hiding their presence in the evening dark, thankfull for the early sunsets in the cold winter. Only a few people hurrying through the streets to get home quickly, pulling their coats tighter around themselves in attempt to warm themselves up.
"Lucky us" Axel whispers just loud enough for Hestia to hear. In response she just nods lightly.
Entering that butcher's shop they know too well they relax finally bein greeted by Xander cheerfully "good afternoon kids" Hestia growled lightly at the word kids but decided to ignore it, afterall she was 18 now! In human time old enough to marry, not that she wanted to so soon anyway.
"Good afternoon unkle" Axel smiled at him like a child. Hestia would have been happy to see unkle Xander under normal circumstances, but something felt odd in the shop today, she begann looking for something, no, someone. Hestia felt a light squeeze on her hand, knowing it was Axel she turned to look him in the eyes. It's alright, I noticed it too.
Hestia relaxed slightly at Axels words, well- their way of communicating without actually using words.
"There is something special for you guys today" Xander proudly announced "Shion! Bring that here before you go please"
The two siblings stiffened as a tall boy entered the room with a big package of probably meat- considering the smell of the package.
Axel was looking at the meat-package like he hadn't eaten for days. Well, that was actually the case so who could blame him. Hestia instead was too focused on the boy carrying the meat. Something about him just wasnt right...and then she realized, those cognac coloured eyes were staring right back at her. Shit. Shit oh shit what now? She tought.
She turned to Xander and politely thanked him and pulled Axels cloack to remind him of the money and the fact that there was another person  there, they both had a feeling they should avoid him.
"Here unkle Xander" Alex gave him a small bag of gold and silver coins and took the package from the boy.
"Good afternoon unkle, and you too...Shion." the way she pronounced his name sounded almost like a treat. Wich it was, but she covered it with a polite smile.

On their way home the siblings hurried, knowing that each and every person they meet is a danger for them. The only person Axel and Hestia dared to trust is the butcher's shop owner- Xander. He istn't their uncle but he's been taking care of them like they were his children.
While they walked home, Hestia's toughts wandered back to that boy from the shop. That Shion stared at her like he noticed something, his eyes were sending chills down her spine. His body looked like it was well trained, the heavy package he carried with ease and most of all that stare....
Hestia was sure about it, he must be a hunter. As they left the store, Hestia dared to turn back once and regretted it as soon as her eyes met Shions gaze. He stared at her like a predator watching his prey. That sounded like bad news to her. She squeezed Axels hand once more, and felt his cold hand squeeze back to reassure her he was there.
