You took me to places I had never been to before,

Taught my once frozen heart to the world explore

Grabbed my hand and told me to run away from this worldly mess

Of going in circles,snoozing and setting alarms, we boarded the escape express,

You gathered my tears to create a pool for me to swim in,

Recorded my laughter to create the most beautiful song in the world,

Took in my anger, stood still

And handled me the way I am-the way the world never will

And as I sit conversing with you

You disappear into the casket blue

It all comes together,your sudden disappearances ,my mind's rebellion,

The picture becomes clear and large

After ages of resting on your shoulders I realize

That you were just a mirage.
